    Best Western All Suite Inn
    Great hotel for family. Sofa bed mattress was not the greatest but my son just slept on the couch. But as far a roominess it was I would stay in the 2 bedroom suite instead of the 2 queen bed room for a family of 5. Other than the pink carpet in the main lobby which I'm sure they will update its worth the rate especially during off season....More

    Hooters Casino Hotel
    There were several problems with this hotel. I take a medication for diabetes which requires refrigeration. I called both Hotels.com and the hotel directly to request that a refrigerator be placed in our room prior to arrival so that it would be cold. I was assured that this would be done. When we arrived, we were told that this did not happen. The refrigerator was brought to the room after we checked in. The next morning when I got my medication out I found that the refrigerator had malfunctioned and it was frozen. This medication was ruined. It cannot be frozen. It will cost approximately $230.00 to replace. There was also another problem at check-in. We were told that we would be charged a $25.00 per day security deposit and since we were using a VISA check card, that it would take 5-7 days after check-out to have this refunded. I have never heard of this and have never been charged a deposit for a hotel. We should have been informed of this in advance. On Tuesday, when we returned to our room at approximately 5:30PM, after having been gone all day, we found that our room had not been cleaned. It took several hours for the hotel to send someone up to clean the room. Overall, the service was poor. The employees that we interacted with were surly and not at all helpful. The manager that we spoke with regarding the refrigerator issue suggested that I put my "sterile" syringe of medication in a bucket of ice water. He never apologized for his hotel's employee not following thru on the assurances that I was given that the refrigerator would be set up prior to our arrival. They were not at all concerned when we complained about our room not be being cleaned. The food in both the Hooter's Restaurant and the Dam restaurant was below par. In the Dam restarant, I asked for a piece of pie and the waiter brought the whole pie to the table and told me to cut my own peice.
