Mornington Hotel Stockholm City
We found this hotel to be an exceptional value. The room, although small, was recently renovated and very comfortable. The location was convenient to the bus line and metro and it was only a 15 minute walk to the main tourist areas. The staff was always helpful and the complimentary breakfast was great....More

Rica Hotel Goteborg
My wife and I stayed at the Rica in Gothenborg two nights. The staff are outsatnding - they really work hard to help you find the tourist spots, get a taxi, or anything else you need, and they are very friendly.
The hotel is old by the current standards, and it shows. It is clean, but dated and a bit worn. The elevator is inadequate as it only holds one person with baggage. Most customershave to make several trips to get their bags upstairs. The location is close to the terain station and while that is conveinent it is also not a real eye-catching area.
This is not a bad hotel for the traisiebnt visitor who uses his room as a place to speel and store his stuff, but if you want a more plush experience, I would look elsewhere. The price was a bit high but not way out of line....More

Rica Hotel Kungsgatan
The Rica Hotel Kungsgatan is located on the top 5 floors of the PUB department store, with a separate entrance and elevators. The hotel has some interior rooms with no windows, some interior rooms with windows that overlook a central atrium, and some with external windows. I booked a room with no windows, but received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with external windows. The upgraded room was beautiful, with terrific views. However, it was difficult for the air conditioning to keep up with the heat that came in through the windows (we were there in the middle of summer), so the room was uncomfortably warm during the day. Other than that, the beds were comfortable with upscale linens, and the bathrooms were modern with water-saving vacuum toilets. Overall, I really liked the hotel, which also offered complimentary breakfast and Internet access. The hotel's location is superb - within walking distance of lots of shopping and dining options, as well as the super-convenient airport train....More
