    Tulip Inn Interative
    The staff at the front desk knew enough English to help us, the breakfast was substantial, the location (several blocks from the main street in Sao Paulo) was very convenient, and the restaurant let us use Am. dollars to pay for lunch. The staff did warn us not to go out after 10 p.m. because of potential crime, but - other than that - it was a great hotel. I would definitely stay there again....More

    Caesar Park Ipanema
    The hotel centered on Ipenema beach and surrounding neighborhood are the safest. You are safe walking at night in this neighborhood. I would not walk to copacabana after sunset. If you are traveling alone or with children, elder family members this hotel is a MUST. My room was remodeled and well done. Most employee,s of hotel speak english and very helpful. The snack bar is very expensive try to aviod. Hotel car is a little expenseive but well worth the english speaking driver and the saftey. The beach in front of hotel is perfect, the service is excellent. I,m a walker and walked the beaches from end to end each day. When carring a camera be prepared to pay a few brazalian dollars for picture,s of sand castles, etc on copacabana beach. Ipanema beach has no problems at all police are honest and care very much about the tourist. Always carrry some small money. If you have some trouble on Copacabana beach go only to tourist police or soldier. Local police are going to make you pay....More
