A nice, well located hotel

Very good location, nice staff. Was very surpriced to have housekeeping personnel stop by everyday to pick up trash, make beds if needed at no extra charge.

Great Room for the money

The resort is only 4 miles from the theme parks. but even if you are not going to the parks the resort has beautiful pools that can keep you entertain, also the lake, where you can rent a paddle boat or a ket ski. The only thing was the little roaches that appeared in the kitchen and guest bathroom. Overall, clean and roomy. Evertyhting worked. If you like to do laundry bring your own detergent, pretty much the only thing they did not have in the room. Great place to stay.

BEST EVER!!!

Although there was a roach or two, and they were a bit to expensive, the resort is awesome. I have stayed here before, we used to have a timeshare home but it was to expensive to keep up with, especially that you will have to be paying for years that you cant go. But whatever! thats not the case! Kitchen was great, Jacuzzi was awesome, the beds were a little hard but i had a great time. The resort is LITERALLY 5 mins away from universal studios and islands of adventures. Service was faster than i thought but it could be that we were staying right near the elevator so we got our food and help quickly. Only thing i did not like about them is you need to charge EXTRA to have maid come in to fix your room while you're gone, and there is no internet, unless you are willing to pay. They charge you for anything that has to do with internet, printing, etc etc. It WAS a little expensive but it was manageable. You are 2 minutes away from Wal-mart so you can do food shopping and cook you're own food in your suite. Over all, i would give it a C+ (if they can improve on making the internet free, and a little less expensive, im sure it will become a A+++ resort in no time)

Nice place, but get ready for a sales pitch!

Overall the place is nice. Its in a nice location and if you get a lake view room, its a beautiful. The staff was friendly at check in and a staff member had you follow him to get to the room. We stayed in a studio. The room number on our paper had a "B" on it, and when we got to the room we saw what that meant. There is a foyer that is opened by the key and once open room "A" is on one side and "b" is on the other. God forbid there is some weirdo staying in the adjacent room who you have to be locked in the foyer with. The room was a good size and had a great patio and view. The only complaint about the room was that the tub (garden style, with jets) is not enclosed in the bathroom. No bath for you if you are staying with a friend or your mom (as I was) because there is no privacy. Then came the call at 8:15 Sunday morning. They asked my mom is she would like to take a seminar (read: sales pitch because it is time share) and when she declined they got a little hostile and said that she still had to do a "maintenance survey" by Tuesday morning (we were due to check out on Thursday)and if she didn't they would not give back her $50 deposit. This made her most unhappy for a number of reasons. When we went to the office on Tuesday the person she was supposed to see was not available, but someone else came down and tried to act like he wanted to know what our stay was like, but he was really just trying to get us to do a seminar. I made it very clear that we were not interested and would rather not waste anymore time because we had plans for the day. He was nice enough and let us go, and said they would not hold the deposit. The place was nice, but the sales attitude and the parking issue (I forgot to mention...I hope you don't plan on bringing a car if you stay here...or if you do you never leave the property because you won't find a parking space anywhere near your building). Were definitely downers.

Nice room for the money

Stayed in a one bedroom suite. Clean, modern with flat screen tv's. Nice kitchen area and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and our two kids did well on the fold out sofa.

not for adults

the building was new and very beautiful. The elevator didn't work most of the time and everything you need is far away. The bedroom curtain (directly to outside) did not fit the window and you could see in quite nicely. Full kitchen was nice if you had a place to sit if you fixed your own food (no table or chair) had a pull out sofa and a nice unusable overstuffed chair, in a bad position for anything. Take your own coffee and everything you need except ice. Lots and Lots and lots of children and activities for them but I won't be staying there again. We were there for a conference and not for Disney so, thats what the are geared for.

Needs improment

Just need improvement in the mantinece area but there employee always was willing to help and we apreciate that.

Cheap

I've stayed everywhere in and around Universal and Disney. This spot is fine if you need alot of room and don't have much money.

Great Prices For A timeshare hotel. Hotels Rooms Have more than enough room.
