Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 118Classy Hotel
This was a great Hotel to stay in. Everything from the valet to the front desk agent was perfect. The service in the bar was second to none.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 118Very Noisy
Fire station accross the street, plus poorly insulated windows let all the outside noise in. I could hear people talking outside and I was on the 6th floor, also kept hearing a loud bang like someone was dropping something heavy on the floor above. I think it might have been the elevator but not sure. Bed linons were poor quality for a hotel of this caliber.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 118Outstanding Hotel
The staff was very helpful. The room was very nice and the hotel was in a great spot. We could just walk everywhere we wanted. If we actually did have to drive nothing was more than 5 min away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 118outstanding hotel
The hotel was fabulous. The room was very simple. For the price paid, I expected a little more elaborate room to meet the standards of the hotel. It would have been great to have a bath tub for two especially with the bath robes that are offered and the in room service just to make the room a little more cozy and romantic. Walls are plain--no cozy feeling there. Overall stay was very nice.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 118Very Nice Hotel, Great Location, Friendly Staff
I stayed in a nicely proportioned room. The bathroom was very nice and luxurious, the room had a beautiful paint job, and window treatments. My only criticism would be that the room apparently was in the middle of renovation as there was an odor of fresh paint. The only negative was the carpet that was worn. But overall it was a very nice hotel and I will stay there again as the staff was very attentive.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 118Very pleasant, I'll go back.
I read a lot of reviews for this hotel before giving it a try. It was exactly what the reviews said it would be. Not the most plush, but old elegance. Both the room and bathroom were spacious, with tall ceilings, and marble floor in the bath. The next morning, we made coffe in our room, sprawled on the bed, read two newspapers, and enjoyed a view of Dallas (we were on the eighth floor). Very pleasant. Only downside...straight down from our room was a fairly large intersection, and we heard emergency vehicles honking their way through the streets. We just decided that was the sound of the big city. Couldn't hear normal traffic. Also, bed was not as cushy as I would have liked.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 118Great room for the money
This hotel was awesome. The room we had was huge and we had a view of downtown Dallas. We ate breakfast in the Landmark Restaurant and it was very good. The only down side was the parking. There is no self parking except maybe on the street, only valet. However the valet was very friendly and called us by name everytime we left and came back. We would definitely stay here again.
