Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 182Great room for the money Nov. 2008
it was close to the action but far enough from the noise. The hospitality suite was excellent and I really liked the free use of the computers for using the internet, we stayed at a 5 star resort after this hotel and had to pay .20 a minute to use the computer as compaired to "0" for the use of the computer at the Waikiki sands. The staff was very friendly and helpful in our planning. The Hotel does show it's age and the carpets could use shampooing if not replacement but for the price it was outstanding. If we go back we will try to book room 901, it's a little more but it has a wrap around balcony with a terrific view of the canal and golf coarse.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 182Don't rely on pictures
We booked this hotel for 4 main reasons: We wanted affordable/clean, a patio to sit on, a nice tropical pool area and breakfast. We could not use the patio (blocked with a 2 x 4) listened to construction noise all day(working on the facing) the pool area was under construction also, with the hot tub not working and toast, jelly, coffee, juice is not really breakfast. Note: If Map Questing: the address is on Ala Wai Blvd. which is one way, but the entrance is actually on a side street.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 182Good Location, Staff was great with solving any issues or conerns
the hotel is improving right now so there was the construction noise but otherwise it was fine. The price was right and I was surprised that we didn't have to pay for using the inroom safe, when usually you are charged a fee from bigger hotels. Great Bar, nice size pool (not to big but not too small). Our only complaints were that we were put into a room with a double and twin and was never asked what kinda of beds we wanted...but turns out the full bed was broke so they moved us into another room with a king with no issues and they came right in and fixed the bed after we moved. They did accomidate us for early check in. If your on a budget or just dont want to spend alot of money for a room this is a good hotel for that...

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 182Great Hotel
This hotel is located in a great area, lots of store right around the corner, and the beach down the block. The staff was amazing, and very helpful. I loved my stay here!!

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 182great hotel!
Great location for business trip. The hotel if off of the main drag in Waikiki but close to Ala Moana, and Kapiolani Blvd. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a bar located in the lobby of the hotel (great pupus, cheap drinks) more of a "regulars" feel rather than tourist attraction. Room smelt kind of funky but it was clean.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 182Good rooms for the money
The location is good, the rooms are clean. Like all the reviews said, the parking is a nightmare but there's options out there. We didnt go to the pool because they were doing some repairs but they did have it open.We went to the beach instead its 2 blocks away. Next time i book, ill call if they are doing any remodeling or repairs. Overall, average rooms great location.

the hotel is alright, only thing is too far away from beach, and no lotions and other stuffs.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 182Not to my expectations
The hotel was a very decent price, but it didn't make up for the cleanliness of the room. There was valet parking which was a hassle because you had to tip the valet every single time you had to take the car out.
