Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 55Great Place to Stay
I live in Dallas and had tickets to a concert at the House of Blues and decided as a treat for myself and girlfriend to Stay near the venue so we walk around before and after. The staff were incredibly nice and we had no problem with a late check-out. They even comp'd the Valet parking ($24/day). The room was great and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had dinner at Craft the restaurant at the hotel and really enjoyed the bottle of wine we had and I asked sommelier where I could get a bottle and he wrote up the location and gave me directions to the store.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 55Very Trendy
The hotel overall was exactly as expected. The restaurant was exceptional. We were guests on a Saturday night and wanted to see the Roof Top bar. Only hotel guests were supposed to be able to access the area although I'm not entirely certain that was the case, and we still had to pay to enter the location. The service was wonderful, the amenities provided exceeded all expectations. It was a very pleasant stay.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 55W- Is it worth it?
Pricey. Hotel room was nice, but I've had better for less cost. My choice for W-Dallas was made for convenience. We had 20 feet to walk to the start of the White Rock Marathon and did not have to wait in line at the American Airlines center to use the bathroom. I ordered room service for breakfast. Eggs, Buttermilk Pancakes, and apple smoked bacon. The pancakes were great, eggs tasted like powdered eggs, and they forgot the bacon. Cost of breakfast $32.00. If the hotel was not on the starting line the stay would not have been worth the money spent. A couple of things I found annoying was having to use the door card in the elevator and the constant techno music in the elevator. These were minor annoyances and would not stop me from staying there.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 55Great Location
In town for Mavericks game just had to walk across street. Great location!I loved the contemporary feel of hotel although I can see how it might be too modern for some.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 55Great hotel BUT
The "W" button, the whatever whenever service could use some help. I had requested a referral for a great place to eat breakfast. The place they gave me was closed and did not open until 9:00 a.m. I feel that the staff should be knowledgable about the hours of places if they are going to recommend somewhere. I specifically asked if they were open because it was 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning, and they specifically said, yes. Needless to say, we drove all the way there and it was not open. Same goes for a pizza delivery place that was requested, after calling the number several times, that place was closed as well.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 55Very Nice Hotel
Had a good time celebrating my wedding anniversary. The room was very impressive with a great view of Downtown. My only complaint is the bed; we did not have a good nights sleep. The bed was a little hard and the covers and pillows were NOT comfortable.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 55Fabulous Hotel
I love the W Dallas Victory Hotel. I went to a concert at the Amercian Airlines Arena and it was so convenient to walk across the street to the arena from the hotel. The staff was great and the Lounge bar downstairs and the Ghostbar was great entertainment for after the concert. My only regret was not staying longer to take advantage of the Bliss Spa located in the hotel.
