Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 31Hip Hotel complete with outstanding staff
Stuck in Atlanta due to flight cancellations, I booked a room at the W Midtown. I am big fan of W hotels, and was overly impressed this time around for the outstanding service I received. I had a small mark on my sheets and they were completely changed immediately. Everyone from the room service to bellman were genuinely kind and helpful. Special props to the bartender, who offered free drinks for our troubles with the airline. For 12 ours, I felt relaxed and happy thanks to the W!

I love that fact that everyone seems to know your name and they always say "What is you wish?" The decor is awesome at night too!

The W is brand new and wonderful! You can walk to Piedmont part and all around mid-town, bars, restaurants, etc.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 6 of 31nice hotel
The hotel was great. We were there on a big football weekend so the only things I have to ocmeplain about was the service was slow and the contails were pricey. From our check-in to the lobby bar to the conceirge they were all way slow and needed more help (they should have been more prepared). The price of cocktails was very expensive for a small drink but such is life I guess. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful, clean, fun and the outside guys went out of there way to hook us up with a car. Whiskey Joes was not full but they wanted us to wait in line to go in to be more like a NY club...not! Oh well, they tried. I would go back though, not not just because our room was clean and we are very picky about that.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 31Amazing Hotel
My girlfriend and I spent the weekend and loved almost everything about this hotel! The room was beautiful with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The restaurant and lounge in the hotel were tremendous. It was a very happening spot. Our only complaint was the shower. It was a walk in with no lip so the water ran into the bathroom. A drain was in the center of the room but many towels were needed. A very minor thing in comparison to the entire hotel. The staff was also exceptional! I highly recommend the W hotel!

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 31Outstanding price for location and atmosphere
Stayed during a busy football game weekend but service was still excellent. Centrally located with a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. Bar was a little pricey but the local bars within walking distance totally made up.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 31Nice Modern Hotel
This used to be a rather old and tired Sheraton and they have done a great job renovating it and making into a W. The rooms could be a little bigger but overall they are nice and have a typical W decor. Staff was overall pleasant but a little inconsistent.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 31The W in Atlanta doesn't meet the expectations they set
Don't listen to the "whatever whenever" slogan. They don't stand up to the 4 seasons, Hilton Executive Level, J W Marriot or other hotels in the price range. The only positive is the modern decor. I left the hotel for four days and stayed in a Marriot in a small town before returning to Atlanta. I received far better service in this small town hotel than in the W. It is very sad, I am so disappointed and won't stay at a W again when I have a choice.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 31The tops on hotel service!
We could not have been happier with the hotel. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was neat and clean and had a beautiful view of the city. I do have to say that when we got there on Friday evening, the music was so loud in the lounge, so thank goodness we were able to find a table outside. The bar is a very busy place on Friday and Saturday, Great place to people watch! The best thing that I can say about this hotel is that the service was exemplary!!! I am not sure that I have ever been treated so well by the staff of any hotel we have ever stayed in. Every staff member went out of their way to make our visit the very best it could be. They were so nice and polite and almost fell over themselves to do for us.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 31The "W" is well worth the price!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff extremely friendly! The rooms were immaculately clean, pretty, and extremely comfortable. I hardly wanted to leave the room it was so nice. The flat screen tvs added to the ambiance of the room. The only annoying thing was not having free wifi in the room and having to go to the lobby to use the wifi. The Accura experience was nice but the hours weren't always convenient. I would definitely stay again!
