Our room was very nice and our bed was very comfortable. The Hotel itself is beautiful. We had a great 3 night stay.

Most of the boardwalk casino hotels are just average and Trump Plaza is one of them. The location is convenient but the area around it isn't very pedestrian friendly, especially at night. The rooms are ok, small and cramped and in need of an update, mainly the bathrooms. The internet surcharge is overpriced, especially when you can go to Starbucks in the lobby and get access for free. Breakfast was included in my room cost but wasn't worth the cost if I had to purchase it. The "standard" breakfast was something you would expect in a buffet, mass produced and kept warm. Overall it was a good value for the price but the key here is you get what you pay for.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 300Great for price and location
I read a bunch of reviews that weren't great but we found it to be exactly what we wanted. Even though it was a Saturday night we were offered an oceanview room without even asking. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the room was clean. The location is right in the middle of the boardwalk so Caesars, Ballys, and Trop are close. It's also two blocks from the outlet shopping. Restaurants are good options although the broadway buffet was closed for renovations. Would definitely stay again.

The food served in the rstaurants at the hotel was very poor. Other than that the staff was helpful and pleasant and the room okay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 300weekend pricing
i believe the weekday pricing for hotels was simply "okay" but the saturday rate's are outrageous. I am more loyal to hotels who don't jack up rates as high as trump does during the weekend. i only stayed because of last minutes plans to be in atlantic city. in the future, i will seek another hotel if trump does this again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 300Good Hotel
We loved staying at the Trump Plaza. Bedding comfort is important because my wife cannot sleep on hard beds. The bedding was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room and the hotels showed signs of wear, but that did not bother us any. Steak house was great. Casino was OK. It seemed to have a lot of older slots. The location of the trump was great, right in the middle of the boardwalk.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 300Great room, poor location
I stayed here for a conference one night. The room itself is very clean and quite large but the surrounding area is filthy and there is not much to do in this hotel. I had to go to different hotels to meet friends or to eat out.

while traveling on business one would expect to have available internet at no cost, but here you had to pay extra just to log in. It is and feels like a casino hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 300Room Dirty
I was so excited to stay at the Trump Plaza Hotel. Everything was normal and I got checked into my room. I went out to meet people I was with for dinner and gambling. Later that night when I went back to my room to retire after a long day, I went into the bathroom and noticed there was some mold around the tub and some grout coming loose in the floor then I noticed about 20 hairs left on the bathroom floor that were not cleaned up before my arrival. Then I noticed the dust around the edges of the floor all around the room and under the desk (not vucummed for sometime). I was so tired I just showered and got into bed. It was comfortable and the sheets were clean but the comforter had a tear in it right on top and when I got into the bed the velour blanket had something on it (not washed). It was not really visible but I could feel it on the blanket. I do not know what it was. Then in the morning when I crawled under the desk to plug in the coffee maker I got an allergy attack from the dust under there.
