Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 292Pleasantly Surprized
I was quite nervous about staying at this Hotel after reading all of the not so positive reviews. The only reason I booked it is because another couple we were going to Atlantic City had already booked their room there. The hotel was beautiful, the room we were in looked like it has just been remolded. I typically go to Vegas to gamble, and I would rate these rooms right up there with the ones in Vegas. Very Nice!

We were surprised how nice our room was for the very affordable price - the staff was very friendly and helpful - can't wait to go again.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 292A Disappointing Experience
Hotel is old by today's modern casinos. It reminds you of the early days of AC casinos - it is about 10 years too old. Only breakfast place open - opened at 11:30. The only coffee in the AM was at a lobby bar - the bartender only had small cups (small white styrofoam) and commented that you cannot find anything in this place. Note - the bartender was exceptionally knowledgeable about the casinos history and its current financial state. Aside from his comment, there was great pride in his tenure and that of his colleagues at the hotel. Nevertheless, I would like a cup of coffee in the AM. Room was adequate but not special. If you want something special, stay a night at the Rittenhouse - and you will know what true service means. Finally, the casino charges ala carte for everything. The informed consumer may appreciate the choice of having services built into the fee. Overall, the people were friendly, the facility is lacking. I'd try somewhere else if you are looking for a place with energy, coffee, and the opportunity to find a place opened for breakfast.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 292Sercurity no help
for the most part the hotel was very nice but our neighbors were not they were screaming all night. Although we complained to security they did nothing, did not even note that we called the front desk or sercurity, so we were not able to sleep or get any satisfation and for that reason alone I would not stay there again

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 292Convenience of location
Everything was perfect except the location of the hotel. It was so far from the other hotels and Broadwalk. We had the most fun.It was disappointing, that the DECK couldn't have there last party of the season because of the weather. Then the WAVE cancelled its party, that was the only thing that spoiled our fun. The bathroom needed the shower curtain liner changed becuase it smelled lightly like mildew.Other than all of that we would recommend this hotel to others .

We stayed 1 night and our friends stayed at the Borgata for over double the price. Our room was actually nicer than their's. We definitely would stay there again. Beautiful hotel. great view of the marina.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 292For the Older crowd!
Hotel was fine, got there around 9:30 on Friday night, was informed by front desk that they couldn't give me a room with a king bed that I had reserved because they were given on a 1st come basis and that the hotel was completely booked up. I had to laugh at that because walking thru the casino it was pretty much barren. The front desk attendent put in a note and said I would be moved in the morning, which I was. The rooms were fine, didn't do any of the dining and the casino didn't have as many options as the other larger casino's, oh and I'm 34 and think we were the youngest people there by 20-30 years.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 292Great Room For The Money
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a few days. I had no complaints. We ordered room service several times, and each time it took less than 10 min for them to bring it up. I loved the view and the comfort of the hotel. The furniture was elegant and the room over all neat. One thing I did not like was the shower, but thats nothing to complain for. The jacuzzi bath was great. The towels were nice and puffy. We did lock in our room keys, but those got replaced with no problem and no charge. Over all I would recommend this hotel, we enjoyed our stay! =]
