Not worth for the money spent

Even after confirming on telephone before check in I was chanrged ard $8/day as some hotel fees which was also not mentioned any where on the site. I asked for Non-Smoking room, I got Smokers room which was stinking with Cigarate smoke. Did not get proper information from the local experts of the hotel regarding the Las Vegas and attractions near by.

Price was good, location was good.

I would stay, again, on a quick business trip. Price and location were right. Typical casino hotel. Would not recommend for families.

Remember this is an older Strip Hotel and is showing its age. But, you cannot beat the location and price. The casino staff is great!

Not that good

There was no hotwater, hotel staff asked us to wait for two hrs. Hotel maintenance staff knocked the door and in next second they barged into the room with master key.

nice room for low price

In Need Of Major Renovation!

We were excited about staying at this casino because we were married in the chapel ten years ago. The casino and hotel are in need of a major renovation or just demolish and rebuild. Nothing exciting about the place anymore.

It's OK.... But is definitely showing its age...

If you're looking for a hotel that's cheap and is just somewhere to pass out at the end of a long night of gambling and drinking, well, go for it. The hotel is definitely showing its age, but if you're just looking for somewhere with a good location (MGM, New York New York, Excalibur, Luxor, and Hooters are all within easy walking distance) and cheap gambling, the Tropicana is for you.

It's a sleeping place at night, it's okay for the price that i paid

over all rating 3 for the hotel. i stayed for a few days, i didn't play at the Tropicana at all because no one plays hold'em there at the casino.

Ok room for the money

Hotel is getting old and definately needs some improvements, but the price was right for the location.
