Travelodge Hotel at LAX Airport

The hotel room had little bitty ants crawling all over. I was told all the hotels had the same problem. Nothing they could do. No elevator available and the hotel is spread out with very steep stairs hard to get luggage upstairs, especially for people with leg and back problems. Right next to a Denny's. Rather scary place however as they have to have a Security Guard at the door. If you went for a walk in the neighborhood you would also see Security Guards there. So I feel it wasn't in the best of neighborhoods.

Great room for the money

Room was nice and clean, front desk was responsive. Breakfast and internet services were free and good. Near to airport, so it was all fun. All in all it was good hotel.

The hotel is close to the airport but you do not hear much noise, so that was great. However, as you can expect there's not much to do around so if you want to visit you definitely have to rent a car. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport that is running all day and night, which is really great! You might just have to be a little patient and wait for the shuttle at the airport but it is usually ok. Another great thing was the breakfast served from 6am to 9am (and you don't have to pay more for it). About the rooms: I went there two times and stayed in two different parts of the hotel. My first two nights there were ok except that I could hear the TV of my "neighbors", could hear them talking...etc. For my second stay, it was way better and I did not have that little "problem". As far as the cleanliness of the room is concerned it was more than ok! The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Value for money

It's 3 min drive from Airport. Clean and big rooms...All necessary staff available. Good value for money.

Stayed at the Travelodge Hotel at LAX the following time. Love it every time. As for a 2Star hotel, it's really good. Nice rooms, clean, quiet, and VERY convenient as for the location. I will definitely be staying there every time I fly through LA. And will recommend it to anybody who doesn't want to pay too much but still get a good room. :) Travelodge is the best!

Needs Improvement

The hotel location is not exactly "Tourist Friendly"! You get what you pay for, so if your looking for somewhat satisfactory accomadations, than the Travelodge @ LAX Airport is good for your buck!
