    The best part about this hotel was the roof top bar and pool. It has amazing views of L.A. I was disappointed though that the bar was closed due to weather ( I think that might of been code for it's the slow season and not worth their time to open it). Location was great, our room had a balcony, comfortable bed... Overall, it was a very nice hotel, however I was not pleased to have to pay for parking and wished there was a coffee machine in the room. The lighting is very dark for doing makeup and getting ready but the dim lighting was great for the ambiance of the room.

Location. The Thompson Beverly Hills is located in Beverly Hills, Calif. The hotel is three blocks from Rodeo Drive shopping and restaurants. Sunset Strip is two-and-one-half miles away.

Hotel Features. The hotel features BondSt sushi restaurant, and a private rooftop bar and pool lounge. A 24-hour fitness center is available. Backlit photography by Steven Klein is scattered throughout the property. The hotel offers wireless Internet access throughout the property for a fee.

Guestrooms. The eight-story hotel's 107 guestrooms open onto private balconies and feature platform beds dressed in Sferra linens. Rooms include flat-panel televisions, iPod docking stations and laptop-compatible, in-room safes. Bathrooms are encased in black marble and are stocked with Sferra towels and toiletries by Fresh.

Expert Tip. If you want gourmet food but aren't keen on leaving the room, don't fret. Pantries are stocked with fare from Dean & DeLuca.
