The Westin Peachtree Plaza

needs repair

The hotel has hundreds of rooms that still have broken glass from the storm that went through nearly a year ago. Our room had a constant whistle from the winds outside. I have stayed at this same hotel previously and did not have the same experiance. I would not stay at this hotel until all rooms are repaired.

Not Exactly What I Expected, but A Good Hotel Nonetheless

The Westin is the Westin; a quality hotel at a premium. Considering the price, I didn't expect having to pay for generally everything in the room, up to and including the internet, of all things. In addition, the thermostat is obviously there for show, because it did nothing to change the temperature of the room, which is a necessity considering the altitude. It did, however, have other things you expect from a luxury hotel (supremely comfortable bed, inviting atmosphere, congenial staff, perfect lighting no matter what atmosphere you're trying to set). I recommend it, especially for a "reality escape" vacation.

Mostlly Good

Great location for the SEC game... Elevators were extremely slow afterwards but there were a LOT of people... Room service was delicious!!... Everyone from front desk to room service waiter was very nice and helpful... One bad thing...had to call security 3-4 times after midnight due to really rowdy,extremely intoxicated, obnoxious people in room next door, trashing their room and slamming people into the doors/walls..REALLY!!...also told the lady at checkout the next morning but don't know if they did anything about it...hope so because I'm sure the room was demolished... Other than that, would probably stay again...

Loved the room but could have used another bath robe. The valet service was excellent--didn't have to wait long for our car. The wait time was too long in the lounge

Stayed for the sec championship game. Prices wasnt worht for what you got. Room and bathroom small, furniture visisbly worn. Other than that hotel was fantastic. Great location.

Location Location Location

The best thing about this Hotel is its' location, if you need to be in the downtown area. It is nice to have a view as well, but of course you may not get a room located on a high floor. They have done a decent job, considering they are having trouble repairing damage from the tornados (the windows are no longer made and all 6,000 are being custom made and replaced, which will take more than another year)The room was clean, bedding was very comfortable. My main complaint is that we had 3 in our room, yet only 2 coffe cups, and drinking cups were ever placed, and getting a 3rd was not easy. Also, for a hotel that is supposed to be a little bit of an upper caliber, I would expect actual glasses not little plastic cups like you get at motel 6. There was a nice robe in the room, that came in handy,but only one.

Great Location

If you want to be in middle of everything that Atlanta has to offer the Westing Peachtree Plaza is a great spot. The service was good but it was great to be able to walk to most of the places my husband and I visited during our stay.

Could not use phone card through hotel phone

Nice hotel but I did not appreciate that I was unable to use my phone card for international cards through the hotel as the number was blocked. My wife and son were abroad and as a result I was charged $10 a minute for my phone calls with a total phone bill of over $250.

Always enjoyed staying here

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and still have not found anything to be upset or unsatisfied with.
