Beautiful hotel with gorgeous renovations however the obnoxious noise of humming machinery coming from the other side of our wall kept us awake all night and prompted an early checkout.

My Wife have stayed in serveral hotels near the downtown area. This hotel is by far the best we have found. The staff is always friendly and ready to help and the rooms are beautiful.

Great hotel with very comfortable bed. Hotel was also a great value on hotels.com. Went there for 15th Anniversary. No regrets! Top Notch Hotel!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 147The little things
I went out of my way to call and email the hotel to tell them it was our 19 anniversary, yet nothing at all was done or said to acknowledge it. It's too bad that I will never return to this hotel, because people don't take care of the little things.

The night time front desk attendant was not very professional and completely unhelpful. Also, if you stay on the Maple Street side of the hotel, you will be able to hear the music emanating from the Stoneleigh P bar across Maple St.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 147Almost Perfect - Just a Couple of Bumps
The hotel has several reviews commenting on the staff at the reception and the lack of professional behavior. My experience was the same. The hotel, however, is lovely (and we have stayed before the renovation), and most of the staff is quite professional. There are even employees that are downright delightful. There were a couple of issues with housekeeping (we found bloody and dirty, used bandages below the bed and our wine glasses stayed in the hall where the cleaning staff had left them for over a day), but overall the hotel is almost perfect.

Hotel was really nice. Plenty of room and all the staff was super friendly. I will definately go back to stay there again when in the area.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 147Beware of noise
The hotel staff is very accomadating and the room was nice. If you're looking for a quiet hotel look elsewhere. We were awakened at 2:30 am by noisy guests right above our room; the hotel staff quieted them down. The next night a band was playing until midnight and was loud. You could also hear street noises very easily outside the windows. The problem is the hotel itself- an old remodeled building that does not insulate the noise like other hotels. Just know upfront what you're getting into. Also $20 per night to park your car.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 13 of 147Great Hotel and Location, bring lots of tip money!
Great room, great bar, great food, perfect location in town. Service was awesome! Just be prepared to tip everyone because they come after you to carry bags, order taxi/limo, valet, and every other thing you can think of.
