Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 430Historic elegance near the Riverwalk
Elegant lobby and rooms. Tall ceilings antiques and friendly service. Bellman offered us the option of parking our car across the street ourselves to save money. Easy walk to the San Antonio Riverwalk and half a block to historic Houston Street and theatres. Best price downtown for what you get. We loved it and will return.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 430Stay somewhere else if possible
Overall, I would suggest staying at a different hotel in San Antonio. I feel this place was over priced for what they provide. Stayed in a 1 queen bed room and the feel of the room was very cramped as the bed took up nearly the entire room. The room also lacked a properly sized desk to work at. Although hotel did have "old charm", my room had stained carpets and bathroom walls and windows needed cleaning. What really got me was for the high price tag on this place, there was nothing included. Breakfast was not provided and Internet was an additional $12 per day. Thus further racking up the price it cost to stay here.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 430perfect location
hotel is about a block and a half from riverwalk one direction and about two blocks from alamo in the other direction. there are alot of homeless people sleeping nearby on the church steps but overall the area was clean, centrally located downtown and a good value for the price we paid. we will be back again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 430Noisey Hotel
The noise level from the outside and from the other guests made sleeping at night impossible. I couldn't wait to get home to get some sleep.
