Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 86Great place in a great location
This is an excellent hotel in a great location. The property is well-maintained and my room was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is only 3 short blocks away from the main train station, which means that you can get to just about anywhere in DC in under 30 minutes using mass transit.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 86Super hotel near Union Station
Our family of four took Amtrak to DC right before the holidays and walked to the nearby Liaison Hotel. The lobby was stylish, the staff very warm and prices quite good. The masculine room was also very nice with two queen beds and flat-screen TV. Only a short 5 minute walk to the mall and Capitol area. Only negative was that there were few restaurants in the immediate vicinity, except for the hotel restaurant and Hyatt restaurant across from the Liaison.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 86Wonderful Staff
I booked The Liason for my family over Thanksgiving Weekend. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Anytime we asked for service, we were attended to quickly. You are close to Union Station and the Capital, the area is really interesting! I have a visitor coming from Canada and I going to suggest she book a room here.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 86Good location and service for the money
Good location, good service, good price except for the price of valet parking. For some reason the rooms were very dry, need to find the cause.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 86Great room for the money
The hotel was close to all of the site seeing that my husband and I wanted to do. The room was great. It had a very comfortable bed and was very neat. the only downside to the whole experience was that the price of parking was ridiculous. We had to walk a little while to get to the room from the street parking but all worth itfor the price we paid for a great room.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 86Great Location, Friendly Staff and Comfortable Room (and they're pet friendly too!)
I returned from a business trip to Europe just days before Thanksgiving to find that home renovations that were supposed to be completed weren't even close to done. Jet-lagged and exhausted with my cat in tow, I wound up at the Liaison. I'm so glad I did. When they say they're pet friendly they really mean it. They even took my cat's name so cleaning staff could put her at ease when they came in to clean. The room was cozy - the pillows, down comforter and bed were all fantastic. Staff made me feel right at home during a week when I would really much rather be in my own home down the street for the holiday. The only thing missing was the refrigerator that I expected to have in the room but I never bothered to mention it. I feel certain they would be been responsive had I mentioned it. Just know you should ask for one if you want one. Also, know that the valet parking is expensive (over $40/night).

The lady at the front desk was very nice! It was a little further away from all of the sights and places to eat than I expected. No complimentary breakfast.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 86very reasonabl and comfortable
The only thing I did not like was the limited food choices and prices at the restaurant. Especially breakfast menu was very limited and pricey. Internet and printing is charged too high. Otherwise, this was a great rate for a very nice room.
