Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 166Fantastic Service
The Langham is located in the financial district in a converted Federal Reserve Bank building. The facility has a European atmosphere and is quite elegant. What set this hotel apart from most others that I stay in (both for business and pleasure) was the quality of the service. From the housekeepers, to the pool staff and especially the "Dans" at the concierge desk, everyone bent over backwards to ensure that our stay was fantastic.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 166Wonderful Hotel!
I stay at lots of hotels and The Langham greatly exceeded my expectations. The room had a nice slanted glass wall on one side that made the room so interesting. The linens and curtains were a step above the normal. I mainly took the room so my grandchildren could enjoy the pool. Again, it was much better than I expected. The pool, hot tub and sauna were all resort quality. And the staff couldn't have been more helpful, personal and kind. Wonderful hotel! Couldn't find anything wrong with it and would go back in a moment.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 166Charming Old-World Elegance
I stayed at the Langham over Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, Boston was completely deserted. When my friend and I ate at the hotel's restaurant, Cafe Fleuri, on Friday night, we were the only customers. Despite the boredom, our stay at the Langham was pleasant. The staff was very coureous and kind, and the hotel was gorgeous.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 166Outstanding accommodations
I had never stayed in Boston before so did not know what to expect in a "downtown" hotel. To be sure I was more than pleased with the room, the comfort, the courtesy of the attendants, and the little touches like coffee and tea in the morning, particularly at the price negotiated by the provider. One only drawback was that use of the computers for e-mail was a bit pricey. Access to public transit is blocks away apart from taxi. All in all I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 166Outstanding Hotel
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. It was definitely a splurge for my friend and I but it was absolutely luxurious and the service was outstanding! Anything we asked for, they always responded with, "My pleasure." I felt like royalty. The seam of my favorite sweater had come apart and I asked if they could fix it. Their seamstress did it within 20 minutes at no charge! Amazing! They were helpful with every question we had and the experience of being there added so much to the relaxation and enjoyment of our trip!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 166Outstanding Hotel
The room was very comfortable, service was great, the price matched the level of service, and many Boston attractions were within easy walking distance. I thought the valet parking fee was a little steep, but not too unreasonable. The housekeeping service was great (the rooms were always tidy and clean), but they started very early in the morning and could be heard through the walls and doors. Because this is a hotel in Boston's financial district, I assume most occupants were early-rising business people who left the hotel earlier than we did. Therefore, I could not fault the hotel for us wanting to sleep in later than business people do. Overall, though, I would stay at The Langham again and recommend it to others.

The hotel is conviently located. The staff are helpful and flexible. The room was a little small for the price but very clean with nice amenities.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 166Outstanding hotel
All aspects of the hotel were fine although we expected a queen size bed based upon our reservation with Hotels.com and were given a basic double bed. The weekend we visited was not particularly busy, but the service level at the hotel did not compromise our stay in any way.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 166Great hotel, great location, great services
Everything about our stay was fantastic...this is a 4 star hotel and it delivered on that rating... It is located downtown, which is deserted on the weekend, but the location is perfect, as it is walking distance to everywhere else (Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, The Back Bay, the South End, The North End, all T's, etc)... Highly recommended, especially at the price we paid through Hotels.com!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 166great hotel
This hotel is a little pricey but it was worth the money. The room was clean, quiet (even tho there was construction right outside our window), and felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room- very comfortable!! The staff is very professional and friendly. The location is perfect if your looking to do things around Boston. We didn't need to drive at all. Most things were within a short walk and things that weren't, the subway is nearby (red/ green/ orange/ blue and silver). We would definitely stay here again, once we save enough for it :0)

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 166Overpriced for what you get
If you are looking to spend money to be high brow this is the place to be. The location is not worth the cost...room was very small ....The concierge was unable to assist us with finding a recommended lunch cafe...and unable to assit with where to find coffee on a Sunday morning! We were sent to places that were all closed on Sundays.... Costs for everything are inflated.....per minute use of hotel internet computers! Construction blocked the normal entrance to Julian's Bar and the Restaurant...had to walk through what seemed to be an emergency only exit door through a crowded dining room laid out like a maze....to get to the bar. Door was unmarked and there was no one stationed at the entrance to assist the many confused guests trying to find the entrance. For the cost I expected much much better.
