    Because I prefer the more laidback liberal "vibe" of the nightlife in the SOCO area (South of Colfax), I love to stay at this hotel once every month or so, go out to the bars, and be able to walk back to the hotel. Some of my favorite places in Denver are within blocks of the hotel (Art Museuem, Central Library Branch, Racines, Charlie Browns, The Church, Govnr's Park, Benny's, La Rhumba, Shelter/Milk, Vinyl, Acoma Center Theatre, Sutra, Funky Buddha, Dazzle) Though the building is somewhat older and rooms sometimes need minor paint and molding improvements here and there, the suites are HUGE and very comfortable. I highly recommended it.

Location. The Burnsley All Suite Hotel is within one mile of the Denver Zoo and the Denver Art Museum. The Denver Convention Center, downtown Denver and Denver Center for the Performing Arts are less than two miles away. The hotel is within three miles of Six Flags Elitch Gardens, Cherry Creek Mall, Children's Museum and Ocean Journey Aquarium.

Hotel Features. The Burnsley All Suite Hotel includes the Burnsley Dining Room and Lounge, serving American cuisine and happy hour specials. The restaurant offers live piano music Monday through Saturday. A heated outdoor seasonal pool is provided. The hotel offers complimentary passes to a fitness center two blocks away. Complimentary shuttle service to attractions within three miles is available from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Guestrooms. The Burnsley All Suite Hotel's guestrooms offer kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Dining areas include tables. Suites feature separate living rooms and desks. Private furnished balconies provide city or mountain views. Rooms offer complimentary high-speed Internet access and cable television. Fabrics include Victorian-style flowers, crimson velour or white.

Expert Tip. In 1963, The Burnsley All Suite Hotel was constructed as an apartment house. Shortly after its construction, investors including Ella Fitzgerald and Kirk Douglas converted the building into a hotel and jazz club. In 1983, the hotel developed its current design, a European-style boutique hotel.
