It' located on a quiet side street and just a just a short walk to Times Square and Restaurant Row (9th Street). Every staff member we encountered was polite and ready to assist us.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 820Good Hotel, Great Location
The hotel was perfect location. CLose to Times Square and close to neighborhood restaurants. Beds were very hard, no extra pillows, sleeping blankes were worn. The room was a bit hot. It happened to be a 65 degree day in NYC in Dec, but the AC could not cool the room. The cleanliness of the room and location made up for hard bed. We only were staying one night. If had to stay longer I would ask for the upgraded room with newer mattresses. Would stay again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 820A hidden jewel
This hotel was outstanding. . .while some of the hotel renovations are still ongoing many of the areas have been completed and are wonderful, far more elaborate than a chain hotel. We found the staff professional and accomodating to the needs and wants of the guests. They were more than helpful to tell you how to get somewhere or suggest places to eat or visit. The elevators are small and slow but we felt that the quality of the hotel and accomodations more than made up for this inconvenience. This is a hotel that I would definately recommend and stay at again.

Dated feeling about the hotel, small rooms. Otherwise perfectly ok for a NY hotel. As many of you did not spend much time in the hotel. Great location though around Christmas.

They were very accomodating with early check in. Great hotel for a great price. Just a half a block from 9 Ave where there are a ton of great places to eat.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 820Wonderful stay!
This hotel was beautiful - we recommend the Executive rooms, as they have all been renovated. The Deluxe rooms apparently have not all been renovated, so they may not be as nice as the one we had. Granite countertops, plush duvet covers, great view (14th Floor, facing 48th)! The hotel staff were all very nice as well. The only two complaints we have were that the elevators were VERY slow (which meant a lot of waiting for those of us on the higher floors), and that one day when we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door and left, the housekeeping staff went in and cleaned anyway (which was not good because we had left out a lot of stuff - laptop, credit cards, etc), but it was all still there when we returned, so at least the staff are honest! Overall, we would highly recommend the hotel - very close to everything in the theater district and restaurant row, including Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall. Also just a few blocks from several subway lines. Concierge was helpful as well! Great place!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 820Bad 80's
I stayed at The Belvedere for 5 days and the hotel was not what I was promised. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but the appliances didn't work. The hair dryer was about 10 years old and broke, the lamp next to my bed was also broken. The flat screen tv they promised was a 19 inches old tv which I couldn't turn on because the power bottom was missing instead there was a hole and god knows I wouldn't stick my finger there. I'm glad The Belvedere hired a great photographer to make the hotel looks great in their pictures. The hotel doesn't look anything like their pictures.

We loved the hotel, lacation was perfect and the staff was great. We traveled with another family with small children and they loved it as well. I will plan my next stay in NYC at the Blevedere Hotel.
