Hotel decor is 1970's. But clean. Room was large, and bed comfortable. Very functional hotel. Decent value for the $

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 83It's OK
It's a 15min drive from the hotel to the falls. Everyday we drove up, and parked at some lots for about $5/day. Staff is not exactly friendly. The breakfast times are strictly followed, or else you will face the lady's talk. :-)

The hotel needs some updating. The staff was not knowledgeable about surrounding area specifically being unable to recommend a restaurant that has fresh seafood. There is no flexibility with check-in time. We had to drive around town for 2 hours to wait to check in.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 83ok but the breakfast needs extreme improvement
This hotel was fine for money but the breakfast was skimpy compared to other Super 8's. The hours were only 6-9 and the doors were locked after 9am. The coffee makers in the rooms were only one cup makers and no microwaves and you had to walk to the lobby if wanted to use a microwave that you could not pop popcorn in. There were only two cereals to chose from, toast and bagels and everyday the same two brands of muffins. and only 1% milk. There was no waffle maker, no fruit or donuts the same thing for our 5 day stay very disappointing. However the staff was helpful and very friendly and greeted you by name. Our room was clean but also the TV channels were very limited.

The location was good, 10 minutes and you were at the Falls. We got back late and there was no parking spots left and the front desk didn't really have any suggestions on what to do. I ended up having to park next door. The room was o.k, walls REALLY thin- no need for an alarm clock, my neighbors talking woke me up. Breakfast was served between 6a-9a. Missed the continental breakfast. The shower was the worst. 1st I get in- start to wash my face, grab the wash cloth, open it (it was folded above the sink) and there was pubic hair on, gross! Then I am done with the shower, turn the water off and the entire handle on the faucet falls off and crashes to the ground. Luckily i was only there for one night.

All other aspects are 4 except the pool which is so bare and small right infront of the hotel and front parking and can be seen from the road when traffic is at a stop. The architect did not design it appropriately.

But that is the price one pays for traveling to Niagara on a Summer Weekend.

The service was good and the location is neither far away from the Niagra falls. Rooms were clean also. Overall was a good experience.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 83Dismal entrances, but comfortable room
Our hearts sank when we first entered this hotel from the back parking lot. The entrance hallway reeked of cigarettes, and the carpet was filthy. Consequently, we were delighted when our actual non-smoking room was comfortable and clean. There is a Target very close by for any incidentals you need to buy. Most restaurants are a considerable distance away. The free breakfast is minimal. The free trolley pass is good for a trolley that only comes once an hour. This is not the hotel's fault. However, we would recommend you drive to the falls and pay to park your car instead.
