Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 32Needs Improvement
I was not impressed with this establishment. There was bags of garbage under the cabinet and the bed was not comfortable. I brought my concerns to the hotel front desk and no one seem to care. I will never stay at this hotel again. My thoughts were if trash was left in the room, then the sheets were not changed, no was the bathroom cleaned properly. This hotel really need improvent!!

For the price, this hotel did not meet expectations. The room had an overpowering odor that was tinged with the smell of mold and mildew. I would not recommend this hotel to others because you can get a much nicer room for the same price.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 32Stayed during Hurricane Ike - Not Impressed
I stayed at this hotel during Hurricane Ike. The first two hours I noticed my feet were totally black from the carpet that was disgustingly filthy. My wife found a piece of a marijuana joint that we flushed down the toilet. We stayed on the third floor, and thought the roof was about to fly off at any minute. The power went out during the hurricane, which was no fault of the hotel's. However, we had a lot of problems from the hotel staff when we tried to check out the next day. The staff person said that they could not give me a receipt because "the computers were down." I explained to this person that a hand written reciept that verified that I checked out and returned the keys would be sufficient for the time. This person then snickered and rolled their eyes as if I was causing them some great inconvenience. Anyway, needless to say, I will not return to this hotel.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is good if you have pets but if you do not have pets then you might not want to stay at this hotel. The carpet smells like urine and you have to pay extra for additional towels! The rooms are very small and the fridge did not work.

Hotel staff was great, rooms were very clean, but beds were too small (twin). I also found a cricket in my room at 2 o'clock in the morning. Since the hotel has a history of crickets in the room, maybe they should exterminate around the hotel.

I check in and had to change rooms four times. The air did not work in the first the second was filled with roaches and crickets the third the air did not work. We stayed in the last room because we could not get a refund and didn't have the money to absorb the cost. The rooms refrigerator did not work either There are no hotel employees after nine the security guard is given orders to change your room if you complain. Horrible, Horrible place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 32Room Access
I showed up late on a Sunday and a new security guard was on duty to give me a key to a room which would not open the door of the room I was supposed to be staying in. Even the security guard's master key would not open this door. After searching for another vacant room (twin beds instead of the queen I'd booked) I moved in for the week. I was unaware on weekly stays that housekeeping did not come each day, and rationed the use of my bath towels accordingly. Otherwise an economic, safe and convenient place to stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 32Good Room for the money
The room was sufficient and had everything I needed with no bells and whistles. The only problem I had was a cricket in my bed, which after I got rid of him it still kinda gave me the heebee jeebees until I fell asleep.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 32Don't even think about it.
The room was dirty, there was roaches everywhere, the badroom was dirty, the toilet was disgusting, the bathtub was disgusting. The sink in the "kitchen" was licking at all time. Don't even think about it. The place is not a good place to stay.
