Good room for money

Well located hotel, we knew that the rooms are very small, so this was not a surprise. Hotel is really downtown and just around the corner of the metro convention center, as we had a meeting there, just perfect. Elevators are an issue, don't be late in the morning or forget something in the room, it will take hours to get up and back down again. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to find a nice room, looking to the front (more sun, but also more noisy), other rooms are pretty dark, especially if your room is on a lower floor. Still, good value for money at this hotel if you are aware that the rooms are really small.

Perfect place to ruin your trip

1. the room is small like a shoe box; 2. I've never seen a hotel room without carpet until coming here; 3. If the bathtub doesn't drain the water, you will have to take a bath instead of a shower. Because no one is going to help you to fix it within 40 minutes. By the way, don't call! Because the front desk might hang up on you any second; 4. You will wake up at 9am everyday without a problem. The cleaning ladies will be your alarm when they clean your next room; 5. Don't drive here. No parking available.

Great value, great location

I stayed here while attending a conference at the Metro Convention Center. Great location. Rooms are a bit small, but well appointed, and I was really only in the room to sleep and take a shower. Comfortable beds. Pleasant service by staff -- arranging for a car to the airport, storing luggage. Right across the street from the Fairmont where I attended a number of receptions. Worked great for me. And the cost was right.

Good value for the price!

I was there for Caribana..so I didn't spend too much time lounging in my room. The room was cozy and suitable to crash at night...wouldn't recommend it for much more, convenience to Downtown and union station outweighed all else. The concierge was very helpful in pointing out the best in TO. Parking (if I had a rental) would probably have been tough though!

Good for the Money..Excellent location

Despite the rooms are too small, the stay was worth it. Fully renovated rooms, very clean amenities and location is great if visiting downtown Toronto for business or the Caribana.

Not Worth the Price

The cost of the hotel did not match my expectations and comfort. After driving 10 hours to get to this hotel we were told it was in our best interest to use public parking several blocks away as the security for the hotel parking is inadequate. Additionally, the room was sooo small, the view was basically another section of the hotel, which left me with a feeling of being in a basement apt. Lastly, the towels were awful! They left lint all over. We gave up and used the hairdryer to dry our skins off. The only thing that was pleasing about this hotel was the location.

Needs Improvement

Hotel room was very small and bathroom did not have any ventilation. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Great location.

Great Location

The room was a little on the small side, but the location more than made up for this. The hotel is clean and modern, and a perfect location for exploring Toronto.
