Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 180Good Location, hotel could use some improvement
The loction was wonderful. Directly down the street from Bourbon, a few blocks from Canal. The hotel could definitely use some improvement. The elevator shook while we were on it. Our last day there, on two seperate occasions someone walked into the room without knocking or anything. Housekeeping came in and took our towels our second day there, and never returned with clean ones. Good for people not planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 180Right on Bourbon St!
Great Location! Steps from Bourbon St and bars; two restaurants within 30 ft from front door. But there's a catch... it is old and run down. The shower "cold" handle was broken off so it was an uncomfortable shower, and there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. The room is a sauna by morning. The location is great, but be prepared for your room to be run down. And parking is about $35 per night!

Rugs and bedspreads a little worn, but beds clean and very comfortable. Also, be aware of ammenity and energy surcharge charges. Overall, a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 180Great Deal
I thought it was a great deal for the location. Hotel wasn't anything fancy but wasn't dirty and its in the middle of all the french quarter action. Was very convenient to walk or take the street car to anywhere I wanted to go. And for being so close to bourbon street, it was quiet. The best deal I found for location. I would stay again if I went back to New Orleans.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 180It's definetely not the close, but gross
The staff were excellent, very friendly nad helpful. The room was in great shape for an older hotel. The TV left a little to be desired , but hey, your less than a block from Bourbon Street. You won't be spending that much time in the room anyway. Parking is a little difficult but the parking garage staff were friendly and the garage was secure. Overall I would definetely stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 180Great location!
Location could not be beat! You literally could see Bourbon from front entrance. Room was small but staff were nice. Room temp was extremely uncomfortable and unable to adjust from room??? But overall great price for location

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 180Needs Improvement
The rate for the hotel location (French Quarter) was satisfactory. The "pool" was more like a green pond. The windows opened to the outside, which I really appreciate and is something you don't see very often. However, the windows were cracked and crooked. Also, there was a "hidden fee" of $12.95 for "free" internet access and other misc options at check-in. I don't mind paying for internet access, but it was not an option NOT to pay and was not disclosed at the time of reservation payment. I rate this hotel 2.5 Stars.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 180great for the money
The Hotel is in a great location, but, the desk staff need a course in customer service. The attitude was not good. It is a nice Hotel, we have been there before, parking is offered, which is good, but the staff needs to brush up on their customer service. Be prepared to question the extra charges at the end. Otherwiswe, we had a great time and would stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 180Great time in New Orleans
This hotel has everything you need for the price you pay. Close location, comfortable beds and New Orleans charm. Bathrooms are small and there's not much water pressure to speak of, but I would stay there again for sure! Quick walk to everywhere you want to go!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 180EXCELLENT room for the money
This hotel is great for the price I paid. It's only a block from Burbon Street. When in New Orleans, who sleeps anyway?!?!? If you are sleeping, you aren't doing something right!! This hotel is great!!!

Good hotel and great location, but the hotel is not the guest who wants room service or other amenities associated with nice hotels. I enjoyed it as a local because I went to the hotel for a "staycation" and I know the area.
