The Seattle waterfront, historic Pioneer Square and shopping at Pacific Place are 10 blocks away. Within two miles are the Pike Place Market, Safeco Field, Seattle Center and the Space Needle. Hotel Features. Intimate dining is spotlighted at The Hunt Club, which features an extensive wine list and Mediterranean-influenced Northwest cuisine. The octagonal Fireside Room features afternoon teas, a light menu and cocktails served amid Honduran mahogany walls, wingback chairs and a roaring fireplace. Live entertainment is featured on Friday and Saturday nights. Located by the courtyard fountain, Piazza Capri, open during the summer, boasts Italian specialties inspired by Harry's Bar in Venice. A business center, conference rooms, and complimentary high-speed Internet access are provided, while a landscaped rooftop terrace boasts views of the Seattle skyline. For recreation, a 24-hour fitness center provides cardiovascular- and Nautilus equipment.
Guestrooms. Embellished in pale tones of ivory, crisp white and muted gold, the 76 guestrooms host mixed-wood furnishings, upholstered seating, framed artistic prints and custom draperies. Bedding includes seven down pillows and 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens, while Italian marble bathrooms offer two styles of Frette bathrobes and designer toiletries. Each includes stereos with 10 satellite music stations and three-disk CD players, complimentary high-speed Internet access, fax-machines, scanners, copiers and color printers. Additionally available are minibars, French-press coffeemakers and complimentary gourmet coffee.
Expert Tip. The Sorrento further distinguishes itself by offering "Clefs d'Or" concierge services. This prestigious accolade may be conferred upon applicant concierges whom are proposed by two active Clefs d'Or, or Golden Keys, members. Five years of concierge experience in a hotel of good standing is required.
