See more detailsLocation. One of the tallest tower-hotels in Philadelphia, Pa., at 26 stories, the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel boasts incredible views of downtown. The hotel is within walking distance of many of America's historical attractions, museums and shopping plazas. Convenient to Independence Hall and the Franklin Institute, the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel is only four blocks from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The Philadelphia International Airport is seven miles away.
Hotel Features. The hotel's interior lobby opens to a spacious atrium. An escalator carries guests from the art-filled metropolitan lobby to the two mezzanines. The lobby has a complimentary business center with high-speed Internet access. The fitness center has a pool, weight-machines, cardiovascular equipment and racquetball courts available for a daily usage fee. Dining options include Phillips Seafood Restaurant, which serves dinners, and The Terrace, which serves a la carte or buffet breakfasts and lunches. The Lobby Bar's menu includes light fare and cocktails. The lobby, lobby bar, restaurant, pool and guestrooms were renovated in 2005.
Guestrooms. The hotel's attractive guestrooms are carefully detailed with the business traveler in mind. Large, well lit work areas and ergonomic chairs are coupled with amenities like pillow-top mattresses. Room service is available. Expert Tip. The Rodin Museum is less than one-half mile from the hotel and features the largest collection of sculptor Auguste Rodin's works outside of France. Auguste Rodin is famous for his bronze sculpture, The Thinker, and his marble sculpture, The Kiss.
