    I was pleased with the friendly and service-minded staff, and the hotel was very clean. All in all, great value for the money with one important caveat - the mattress was quite poor, and that alone is a deal-killer. It was too firm, and sagged in the middle. Nothing is more important in a hotel room than the mattress!

Location. The Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, Mo., is one-quarter mile from the Clayton Art Gallery in the Clayton Business District. The St. Louis Zoo is one mile from the hotel. Shopping at the Galleria, Washington University and Forest Park are two miles away. The hotel offers complimentary roundtrip shuttle service to Lambert International Airport.

Hotel Features. The lobby level of the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel offers Alexander's Restaurant and a host of seafood-inspired dishes from around the world. For a relaxing nightcap, the Lobby Lounge serves cocktails and light snacks. The hotel has an on-site business center. For meetings and events, the hotel offers 18,000 square feet of flexible event space. Larz Salon provides beauty services including hair care, manicures and makeup. The hotel's heated indoor pool and fitness center are on the fifth floor.
