Great room for the money

The view was incredible, we so appreciated the upgrade, the view of the ocean was so worth it!

Needs Improvement

First,the hotel is called the Sea Club Hotel any reference to a Resort is misleading. I booked the hotel room for a suite and when we arrived the hotel had overbooked and did not have a suite available. So 5 people were forced to squeeze into 2 beds. I ended up sleeping on the floor afraid of bugs and roaches. The bath tub was full of ants. The fridge was rusted to the point that it was falling apart, the door would not close at all. The hotel room says no smoking but it smells like an ash tray. The front desk receptionist was extremely rude and unaccommodating. When we arrived and tried to turn on the lights, my boyfriend got shocked by the lamp. We realized there was no light bulb but the filament was still in the lamp. Overall, the hotel was an extremely unpleasant experience. I do not recommend you stay here even if its just for a place to sleep, the mattresses were not comfortable.

BED BUGS!!!!!!!!

After the first night,we woke up covered with BEDBUG's bites. The hotel didn"t respond at all. It ruined our vacation and we are really disappointed.

This hotel is not very clean. It's old and needs improvement.

Great room for the money

The location is ideal and the staff was very accomodating. The next time I would stay in the suite (its larger and updated). Our stay was actually better than we had expected.

Great Value Very good location

the Staff the day I arrived were extremely accomodating & very helpful I loved the room wich had a great view of the pool & the ocean the cafe bar was very convenient but expensive oh & don't expect maid service these gals were so slow and so not on that I ended up doin my own room not to mention they could not speak english at all but hey I didnt mind Other than that it was a great value for the money and is one of the best beaches and this hotel is really a bechfront property with alot of potential for a fabulous stay in FtLauderdale without the expensive price tag

Needs to be renavated bad

Very musty smelling parking lousy lots of other hotels close by that were much nicer looking.

only the location

I would only recommend this hotel based on the fact that it is right on/across from the beach. It located near EVERYTHING and has an awesome Deck bar. The cleaniness is not all that great in the lobby areas and is very out dated.

Hey...needed a place to stay

Needed a place to stay. That was it. Close to the beach. The place did smell funny and all. Clean sheets on the bed. People need to quit whining about stuff. There are no dead bodies or anything. I wouldn't want to stay there for a week straight or anything. I just looked at lowest price and location.

hidden fees. u get charged for local calls...there was deposit i didnt know about...hotel rooms say no smoking, but the rooms smell like an ashtray
