needs improvement

need more valet parking people, when I arrived, no place to park my car and do the check in, the valet parking guy was very busy and no place for check in parking car. The ice machine on 9th floor never has ice.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Valet parking a rip off. Charged $21 for overnight + $10 for 2 hours from 10-noon.Cash no receipt. Next morning they tried to charge me the $10 again. The inside of the elevator was brass but looked like a nightmare for CSI Miami. There were so many fingerprints and palm prints overlapping up to 6'6" that it looked like a film of oil continuously from the baseboards completely around the entire elevator. I felt like I wanted to take a shower. At check in, I was given a coupon for a continental breakfast the next morning. I was not told that it was from 7-8 AM only. All things considered, I was probably better off not eating there. They do not have a restaurant and the room service is provided by local restaurants that should be ashamed of the food they overcharge for on the xeroxed menus they slip under the door to your room. This place gives Miami a black eye. I do not think I will go back to Miami.

all was good but no internet in rooms. only in lobby area.

the room was comfortable, no internet in the rooms. the breakfast was dissapointing usually i am not into breakfast and wanted to try out 1 day out of the four days i stayed there. but was a waste of my time. that's the only main thing was horrible.

not very clean, expensive parking, continental breakfast is a joke! just not worth the money

Very Good Hotel

Well I am from The Bahamas therefore, in my view I would never say that a hotel is better of any of ours. However, i would recommend River Park to others because it is a quiet environment and it has a nice view of the river.

needs improvement

For the area the price is great, but the hotel seemed run down inside and out. The sign on the top of the building had been ripped down and not replaced which made it very difficult to find. Additionally its located on a hidden away one way street which made it nearly impossible for even our cab driver to locate. My recommendation is to spend a little bit more money to stay in one of the other nearby hotels.

Better Service Needed

Other reviews have stated the issues with service. Call ahead because Wireless seems to be a myth.

There was no restaurant or bar available , no fridge in the room . Room was very small and the carpet needed cleaning

dirty but good location

Great location if you're going on a cruise the next day, and want to walk around a bit in downtown miami and still be close to the port. Honestly, I would have rather stayed in south beach and paid for a cab, the shuttle to the port is a rip off anyways.... $6 per person, and you could literally walk. Its dirty, old, and smelly. If you are a germa-phobe, be ware!
