    This hotel was very convient to the beach, just across the road. the maid service was good and twice a day. we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean. Our only complaint was that they were working on the lobby area and other units and were not aware that would be happening. One day the water was off most of the day and the workers were using the 2 available elevators. 2 elevators were not being used. We were walking through a consctruction zone, not a lobby

Location. The ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower overlooks Waikiki Beach and the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean in Honolulu, Hawaii. Located on Kalakaua Avenue, popular for its shopping, dining and entertainment venues, this property stands less than four blocks from the International Market Place, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the DFS Galleria.

Features. Set back from the street, the hotel offers respite from the whirlwind of activity in Waikiki. A flagstone walkway bordered by lava-rock walls and shaded by a blossom-draped arbor leads to the hotel lobby. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool area with a sundeck, a spa tub, and men's and women's saunas. On-site services include seasonally supervised child care for a fee, limited room service, and concierge and valet services.

Guestrooms. The 44-story ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower offers 104 guestrooms with kitchens that contain refrigerators, microwave ovens, stoves, dishwashers, toasters, coffeemakers, blenders and rice cookers. Private balconies overlook the ocean. Living rooms feature furnished sitting areas and dining room tables. Bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations and provide scented French-milled soaps. Additional room amenities include cable television, DVD players, and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Washer/dryer combinations are located in each unit.

Expert Tip. Every evening ends on a special note with a collectible seashell and Godiva chocolates placed on guests' pillows.
