Location. Tropical mammals and marine life housed at the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium are within three blocks of the hotel. The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center is six blocks away.

Hotel Features. Reflecting Hawaii's cultural past, the hotel's décor includes cultural artifacts such as poi serving bowls, tiki torches and traditional kappa prints. Expert Tip. Dining at the hotel's Tiki's Grill & Bar during sunset each night held an unexpected surprise for me, as entertainers, musicians and native storytellers performed within the restaurant's 30-foot glowing volcano.
