Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 67Might be close, but wasn't a good deal
We recently stayed it this hotel and experienced a rare rainstorm for Anaheim, CA. While it doesn't rain often, the hotel walkways flooded around our building. I assumed they'd try to sweep, pump or sandbag the water. They did not. In fact, they did nothing. We were trapped and had to ruin shoes in order to get through. This lasted 3 days. Furthermore, our room had peeling wall paper, a broken bathroom drawer (which we reported upon arrival and no one ever came) and hair in the shower. I don't usually complain, and I work in the hotel industry so perhaps am sensitive. I did not have the heart to ask the housekeepers to come to our room during our 4 night stay because they had to push their carts in the rain through the flooded walkways. So we paid for a poor quality room and for no housekeeping. When we asked the front desk about it, they were nice, but said they did they best they could. They did nothing at all...I know because we have shoes to prove it. When you're heading to Disneyland, you can't start your day with soaking shoes. Overall, I felt that this hotel treated everyone as if they knew that their location was close to Disneyland and that they didn't feel it necessary to "go the extra mile" to help us especially in a rare rain storm. In addition, it was unsafe for their employees to have to work in flooded walkways with no rain gear, no rain coats, no rain shoes, etc... I will not be returning. I am suprised this hotel is affiliated with Marriott.

The bus to Disneyland was a great convenience and cost for our situation. The room it self was fair and the buffet was ok.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 67Wonderful Family Hotel
We LOVED our 7-day stay at this hotel. The rooms were fantastic, cleaned daily, extra room for our family of 5. The breakfasts were AMAZING. The breakfast staff was cordial and accomodating. We loved the location and proximity to Disneyland. We will definitely stay here again.

We spent 7 days at the Residence Inn and was very happy with it. The room was very clean and pleasant. The staff was very pleasant as well...We enjoyed the free breakfast every morning and the kids loved the pool and jacuzzi after a long day at Disneyland...There was also a laundry room which came in handy! Overall, I would highl recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 67Excellent Hotel
This hotel was a great place to stay. I reserved rooms for my family and my brother-in-laws family to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Both families were very very happy with the choice that I made with hotels. We reserved two one bedroom rooms. It was more like staying in an apartment than a hotel room, though! We had five people staying in our room and that was plenty of room for us all to relax in. The employees at the front desk were very helpful and if we needed anything, we were able to get it very quickly. Almost everything that I read in past comments about this hotel were true. I had read several that said the beds were too hard - I actually found them to be quite comfortable. I also read that the rooms were too hot - my family was cold most nights. The breakfast was only so so. Not a big enough variety from day to day. Avoid the french toast - it was hard as bricks! The scrambled eggs were a little too runny for me and my family, but if you like your eggs that way, then they were perfect. I strongly recommend that anyone staying here take advantage of the free breakfast though! We saved a lot of money doing this! However, be prepared - they get extremely busy at breakfast time no matter what time you go down there! We also took advantage of their bbq grills one night and that helpted save money as well. There was plenty of parking around the hotel. We used the ART to go back and forth to Disney. We could have easily walked but decided we would be doing plenty of that in the park! The only thing that I was extremely disappointed in with this hotel was the housekeeping! The housekeeper did as minimal work as possible. They were very stingy with towels, cups, toilet paper and soap! We were constantly having to call the front desk to get one or more of these items! However, even with these problems, I would be more than willing to stay here again! This was a very relaxing and pleasant hotel!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 67Great place for families with children
This was our first stay at this type of hotel, and let me tell you I will never stay anywhere else! The room was perfect for my family and the location was within walking distance from Disneyland. The staff was very accommodating to our requests. The breakfast buffet was a plus and very satifying thru lunch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a big family or with small children, the full kitchen was so beneficial, we cooked one night and ate out one night, just having the option was great!

Somewhat spendy. Need a recycling program. Bus stop at the hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 67Very satisfied
A very fine choice for families, we hsd two one-bedroom suites, very clean and comfortable, grounds were pleasant and well-maintained, staff were all friendly and professional. A great choice for Disneyland, the comfortable and efficient ART shuttle stops right in the hotel's parking lot every 20 min. Walk to a few decent restaurants, there was a pretty good breakfast buffet at the hotel, and a 20 min drive to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 67Very comfortable for a family
The room was a very comfortable layout for a family--dining room, living room, bedroom. The shuttle to Disneyland stopped right outside our door. The breakfast was wonderful--eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, etc. We had no complaints at all--we loved our stay and would stay there again.
