Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 107Great Hotel. Family Oriented, Nice Getaway.
We were extremely satisfied with the hotel. We were referred there by Hotels.com, & could not have been happier. It is a really nice family oriented hotel, and it's also a nice romantic getaway. Very quiet and great customer service.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 107Very Comfortable Room
The hotel had a very comfortable room and we slept very well. We were a little bothered by some noise made by other guests in the hallway, but that only lasted a few minutes and all was quite the rest of the night. The room was large and had a sleeper sofa. The bed was very comfortable for my wife, who is pregnant and was worried about not being able to sleep on the hotel bed. She slept so well, that in the morning she did not want to get out of bed.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 107NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT
we were moved a total of 3 times to get to a descent room. i even upgraded and then was told that those rooms were not available so i had to settle for 2 adjoining rooms. this inexpensive trip for my family ended up costing over $600 in hotel fees and i am not happy at all.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 107suites/Sleeper Sofas . . . Replaced?
This hotel has stated that they will be replacing their sleeper sofas next year. Personally, I think they need to be replaced now. The one in our king suite was pretty ratty. You may want to ask if the sleeper sofas have been replaced in the suites before booking.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 107Rudy's BBQ close, and good!
No Starbucks very close, or easy to get to. Whataburger 2 miles away, easy access. Nice bar and appetizers in hotel. Did not try onsite restaurant. Easy access to the Shops at La Cantera and 410.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 107Great Price & Location
We got a really great rate and was very close to SeaWorld. The only problems were the couch was dirty and looked like something from a frat house. Also, the toilet ran constantly.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 107Great weekend getaway
Loved being able to relax in the heated pool and spa after a busy day at Seaworld at the end of October. Also toasting marshmallows over the fire pit while sipping a well earned glass of wine!!!!!!!! Great service and food.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 107great hotel for sea world visitors
great hotel - free shuttle across the street to sea world so you save on parking - breakfast buffet was not worth it and the pillows were not that comfortable, so if you are driving - bring your own! We stayed in a jr. suite with our son in a crib and had plenty of space.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 107Nice place, bad service
The hotel and room were nice, but the servie was under par for a "Resort". Both breakfasts that we ordered came cold and incorrect, and the surprise facial and massage that I had made reservations for my girlfriend to have were "double booked" and we ended up having to shave time off of both in order to get them done so the employees could leave when they were supposed to. I would stay there again beacuse it was beautiful and in a good location, but next time I guess I need to be more pushy and demanding to get what I want. If I could have done it over again, I might have demanded a discount on the outrageously priced massages since they were supposed to be an hour and all we got were 45 minutes.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 107Needs some improvement
We chose this hotel because it was one of the nicest ones in the area of Lackland Air Force Base for which we had to travel to every single day. The drive was a little bit farther and you had to access a couple different highways rather than it being a straight shot but overall, that didn't bother us. The chocolate mousse on the hotel Menu was very dissappointing; it was whip cream with a little of chocolate added to it; not the real stuff made w/a quality Chocolate and Eggs. They should remove that from the Menu. Our 1st 3 days was in a 2-Queen overlooking the Garden and a partial view of the pool area; 2nd 1BR Suite w/Jacuzzi was overlooking the parking lot; we were dissappointed in that since we asked for a pool view but this was not hotels.com's fault; it was the Radisson's; Overall, I would recommend it especially for those going to SeaWorld on the same street as this hotel.
