Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 615Ehhhh
They took an EXTRA hour after checkin time to let us into our room. Toilet seat had very odd stain on it that was cleaned during our adventures in the city. Noise was not present and the mini bar did not work in our room. Over all too much money but decent place. Survey Says? Probably won't stay here again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 615Great Choice of Hotel
Ideal location and very clean. The restaurant was very convenient and resonably priced. We will definitely try to stay at the Raddison on our next visit and would recommend this hotel to our friends.......

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 615Good for the money
Good location near to Macy's and Times Square. We were a family of 4 and had a larger than expected room for an NYC hotel. It was also very quiet. The reception staff were good and working hard but the desk was always thinly staffed which resulted in delays whenever one of them had to go and sort a problem out. For some reason our room was not cleaned on one of the days and newspaper delivery was hit and miss. Overall good for the price and would recommend.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 615needs better service and cleaning of room
I stayed in Hotel for 3 nights and never had cleaning service. After complaining to Administration I got only a couple of fresh towels. Unacceptable!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 615Disappointment
We were there for four days and never had housekeeping services. I made the beds, emptied the waste baskets and called for fresh towels each day. The hotel manager was apologetic but admitted there was nothing he could do, as they didn't have any help. This was a common complaint among other guests. Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the room was mediocre, at best. The toilet seat was broken and the shower did not drain, as water backed up into the tub. Very disappointing.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 615Convenient to Penn Station and Very Comfortable/Clean
This hotel is two blocks from Penn Station and a great starting point for roaming the city. The lobby is beautiful with interesting tilework. Our room (two double beds) had plenty of space and was clean and complete with comfortable beds and large, fluffy towels. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant was plentiful and delicious. Great choice!

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 615Great location, good price, room could be better
We stayed at this hotel couple of days before Christmas. The location is truly great-one block from the famous Macy's,one block from Penn Station, everything is close by.The price was also good for the value. The room was kinda small for two of us,but clean and neat, had flat screen TVs, beds had SleepNumber mattresses (which was a nice surprise) and looked very cozy. However, the lamp stand didn't have a switch (which was inconvenient),and the toilet bowl kept clogging up.It was very unpleasant for such a nice hotel!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 615Twilight Zone
I did not realize it when I booked my reservations, but this used to be a Holiday Inn. I stayed here in 2002. I was expecting something fancier from a Radisson (I stayed in one in Panama), but it really wasn't any different than when I was here before.

Close to the subway and shopping at Macy's Very clean and comfortable. Check with desk for breakfast vouchers, I asked and was given free breakfast vouchers. Restaurant open 24hrs so very convenient for late nite snack after theater.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 615Great Location
My wife and I stayed at the Radison in Midtown. The location was outstanding. We were able to walk to several great attractions. One drawback, the room was small. Not a big deal, we didn't spend much time there.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 615You get what you pay for in some ways.
Ok...I performed the research just like you're doing. I looked at the area, convenience, price, reviews, REVIEWS and then just said, "Ok maybe the bad stuff won't happen to me." Well...it didn't but I didn't get the remote to order movies and I needed to get my key recoded. You are paying for the convenience...it's amazing! I compared this to the New Yorker and it beats in location. However, I didn't get my room service breakfast and the remote thing I mentioned earlier. On one or two occasions when I was leaving the hotel to enjoy the NY energy there were guests that were visibly upset with the accommodations...guess I was lucky...but I didn't stay in the tiny room much.
