Radisson Lexington Hotel New York

No blankets in the room! Poor service!

Stay away from that place, it's really crappy and decadent. I usually had a positive opinion of Radisson hotels, but it completely changed in this one-night stay. The maintenance and attention to client is really poor. In the first room they have put me, somebody left the window open and dust from a renovation nearby was covering the desk and bed. We asked for a thorough cleaning and went out for about 3 hrs, but nobody did it. They then changed us to a different room. When me and my wife came back from dinner and were preparing to sleep, we realized there was not one blanket in the room! Just a flimsy sheet. I phoned the front desk asking for a couple. After a while, as it didn't come, I phoned again. They then said they did not have any "extra" blankets. I had to yell at them to get one flimsy blanket! Oh, by the way, the temperature that night in NYC was in the teens! Thanks god it was just one night!

needs improvement

When we arrived our room was not ready, we waited 3 hours. When we finally got into the room it was very dirty so had to again wait for it to be cleaned. They called this the "petite" room- it was extreamly tiny. Oh & we requested non smoking & they only had smoking. :(

Convenience and value

This property was conveniently located near all mid-town attractions. Clean and good service. We reserved a "petite room" anxiously wondering which closet we would stay in. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was smaller than most but had all the amenities including an HDTV and individual comfort adjustable bed. For our one-night stay it was perfect. Check in and check out were painlessly handled by a professional staff. The best news -- the price was shockingly low for NYC. I would highly recommend this hotel - ncluding the "petite room".

A great place to stay

This was our first time staying there and It was great. The hotel was exactly the same as what I saw on the internet which is usually not the same. It has all conviences like starbucks and even a little restraunt for breakfast. You would not be disappointed at all by staying here.

needs improvment

The front desk was very nice and it was a great location. The only major issue was that the room was very warm when we arrived and even turning the air conditioning on the temperature would not drop. Tough to sleep in warm conditions. But otherwise would recommend

Awful Hotel - Will Never Stay Here Again

My experience at this hotel was awful. My room reeked of cigarette smoke (even though it was a "non-smoking" room). The thermostat didn't work. The floors were dirty. One of the lights was broken. There was no blanket on the bed, just a top sheet. I had to take a cold shower in the morning because there was not enough hot water.

Perfect for our needs

We wanted a hotel room close to Grand Central and to Rockerfeller/Time Square - it was perfect! The room was nice and clean. Our only complaint was that our 'deluxe' room was very small. We only stayed one night but it served our needs perfectly. Even loved the little diner and starbucks right downstairs - so convenient!

Needs improvment

Fist, I should say that for the price and the last minute reservation, the day before Christmas Eve... and the location. It wasn't half bad. I stayed there with a wonderful friend of mine and he was greatly surprised, considering it was smack in the middle of midtown. But, I have to say that once we went to check into the room, it was a disaster! There was food, condoms... the room being in disarray is an understatement and we didn't check in until around 5pm. I could not understand it. We went back down stairs to get a new room and the staff was just like,"oh well, it's not my fault". But they extended our check out time by about an hour. I still was a bit traumatized and disappointed. I felt they could have maybe offered to upgrade our room or something. I think it was just the attitude. The room service was sluggish and the room was small. But, they did have a mini bar and free wi-fi that compinsated for the less then steller customer service.

Lexington Radisson in NYC

Excellent value for the money that I paid. Very clean room and the restroom, LCD TV, mini bar. A very good deal for NYC.
