Ongoing Noise

I have stayed at several Hotels through Hotels.com. However, this is the first one that I could hear every detail about the people living in the room above us and the passerby on the street outside. In addition, I could hear the conversation of the neighbors next door. As for the room itself, the cleaning people did a good job keeping the room clean. The bed is considered a sleep number bed, but I could not get comfortable all night long. I know now that a Hotel close to the city major attraction is not a good place if you would like a good nights rest.

Noisy but comfortable

The location on fisherman's wharf has a lot of street noise from the cable cars. But the convenience to the wharf overcomes the noise. The rooms could use a mini fridge to keep stuff cold.

old and dirty!

expect to get a overpriced old hotel room based in the middle of the hood! And get this $40.00 per day to park on a roof! Dirty older rooms, and guess what? more rude hotel workers!

Good Value

Great place for the price. The parking was a good value considering the prices in the city. The employees were friendly, they brought us up a rollaway when I called to inform them there was no hideabed as stated on the website (no extra charge) and fast. The let us keep our car in the lot past checkout time for no extra charge. Room clean just didn't adjust the sleep numbers right and our backs hurt in the morning.

Great location to see Fisherman's Wharf

This is across street from Sheraton. Great location to see Fisherman's Wharf without a car. Hotel manager was very helpful getting me refund for business internet charges when I tried to print out my boarding pass because the free printer was out of commission. However, the concierge should have told me that the desk would have printed them for free. IHOP nearby great for families. Walking distance to Coit tower. Great value for money. Our "partial" Bay view looked right at Alcatraz and we saw a rainbow over it, after a rainstorm!

Sleep number beds were a great addition, clean room and bathroom, nothing outstanding about the room, but good place

Broken things fixed

Between two rooms, the bed, lamp, phone, and TV were broken, but the staff took care of everything perfectly. Even the maintenance and cleaning staff were happy, courteous, and professional. Great location for Fisherman's wharf, not so great for our conference and visiting friends. Two blocks from a Trader Joe's!

Great room for the money

It is located very near to the PIER-39. Many tourist spot are on walking distance from hotel.

Bad Business Center

Expensive to log on and use -- no on-site supervision or responsibility; printer does not work, had to get hotel telephone operator to solve internet and printing problems (he was very helpful).
