I thought the location of the hotel was great. Shopping at Urban Outfitters just down the block. Close to restaurants and bars. Great!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 143Employee Needs Training On Customer Service
I checked in the hotel on Friday for a 3-night stay. On Saturday, I left the hotel and came back at night to find myself locked out of my room. When I approached the front desk with the problem, the front desk attendant tried to pull a fsat one saying that I left the e-key close to a cell phone causing the key to de-activate. I stated that it was not the case but he knew it all. Then, I decided to key my cell phone and the key together until the following Sunday morning and no deactivation occurred proving him wrong. My point is that a customer focused attendant would have apologized and proceeded to activate the keys for the hotel guest.

When we come down to Dallas to attend a concert at SMU, the Radisson Hotel Central is our hotel of choice. Through hotels.com we feel like we get a great bargain and know we are paying substantially less than the guests who have booked directly through Radisson. Now that we have a small puppy we also like that it is a pet friendly hotel.

The staff at the Radisson were at best apathetic and at worst downright rude! I left a pair of silk pants (expensive)and have not gotten any return calls to my many queries about the pants. The sleep number beds (advertised) did not work...and when most hotels of this caliber have complimentary breakfasts, this hotel does not. The parking is inadequate and very far from your room. Also at night the area is NOT secure and poorly lit. Not once did I see any security at this hotel. I would NOT recommend anyone traveling alone to stay here, especially a woman.
