Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 706If location is what you need
The hotel is ideally located and for the price I would rate the location as excellent. However, expect another $20 odd in parking and a "resort" fee of $9 that I wasnt aware of when I booked it. The hotel is poorly maintained, the rooms are super old, Bedsheets werent entirely clean or without holes and it took us 30 minutes to check in. If you are in New Orleans, then I doubt you would spend much time in the hotel but if you want to chill in the room, then you should look somewhere else.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 706Nice room, bad service
To begin, there is no valet parking. There is an open lot next door that charges 15 dollars per night to park and the hotel will tell you that you must call hotels.com and complain. We did this and after an hour sitting on hold in the open lot hotels.com told us they would return 30 dollars of the reservation to make up for our trouble. Of course this did not make up for anything because we had to spend that 30 dollars to park. It all really doesn't matter because 4 days later there is still no refund. After this wait I waited in the lobby behind 3 other people to be checked in for about 40 minutes because only one front desk clerk was helping customers. The only other employee was still doing the paperwork to check guests out at 5:30pm. Check out time is 11. Besides the hold up of only one employee, each guest in front of me had to deal with problems from no requested rooms available, their room being in a tower next door and several expecting valet parking. There is a "resort" fee that you must pay when you arrive so expect a few more dollars (they actually ran out of ones and guests were forced to pay with credit cards) to use / or not use the internet and cable TV. The location is nice and safe however and the room was relatively clean. Expect delays and to spend more than hotels.com advertises.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 706Nice hotel, but small rooms
The hotel is really nice with a very friendly staff. It's a short walk from the french quarter. Though the rooms were smaller than we expected, the beds were very comfortable. I made reservations for a king size bed, but all they had when we got there were queens. I'm not picky so it wasn't that big of a deal. Over all the hotel was nice. Very cute boutique hotel with smaller than normal rooms.

I really enjoyed the hotel and the location to all of New Orleans attractions. I would recommend this hotel to travelers going to New Orleans. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were clean.

room wasn't very clean. Found someone's sock tucked behind some furniture but in sight. Also, furniture was in bad shape and didn't look like much had been done to fix it or even hid the issue. Room in general was in decent shape and comfortable, but looked pretty run down and no care taken to hid flaws/repairs needed.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 706Do not stay here
This hotel made me wait an hour parked in front of their hotel for a valet to park my car upon my arrival, which was at 5pm during a weekday. The valet would not have helped me at all until I ran up to him and told him I had been waiting an hour after I saw him helping someone who had just come down to the lobby. This is after my wife had asked the front desk and the valet himself for assistance 30 minutes earlier. In addition the hotel had no hot water when I went to take a shower. I waited 10 minutes for the water to get hot nothing and no one else in the room had taken a shower before me that day. Their breakfast in the morning was a joke as well basically coffee and a day old bagel.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 8 of 706Good for the money
I am not a big hotel person. So take this with a grain of salt. The service was good. They were polite and helpful. I needed directions to a house in the city and the young man pulled them off the internet without me asking. The room was small but cute. My sons liked the beds, nice and comfy. Things were clean. At one point the door did not lock. The young man at the desk had the maintenance guy look at it right away and it was fixed, but as back up the room next door was availble. Take into consideration that this was during the month of December, not a lot of hotel traffic. Service might be different during Mardi Gras, Bayou Classic, Jazz Fest, or Essence Festival.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 706Could use some improvement.
The room was a little small and not much room to walk around. The water pressure left much to be desired. I would have had better luck with my neighborhood water hose. The internet fee should be optional but was mandatory. Overall still not bad for the low price.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 706Very comfy
Only there for one night, but enjoyed the stay. Very close to all the big attractions and the bed was extremely comfortable. We'll definitely stay again if we're in New Orleans again.

This hotel was a great deal for the money i paid. It was very conveniently located for many of the attractions in downtown New Orleans. The free valet parking was a great value as well. Overall, my stay at this hotel was wonderful.

Enjoyed the stay. Nice boutique hotel. When "free valet parking" is advertised on website, make sure you print the information.

The hotel was very nice and the service was great.the front desk agent was helpful and even switched our rooms so that the other couple could be next to our room.Although we was directed to the wrong building that does not matter.im not a picky person and brushed that off.the only bad thing was that it was 75 degrees outside and the room was about 90 degrees when we checked in.it took a while for the room to cool off.overall my stay was satisfactory.
