if you can overlook the construction in the lobby you will be very happy. it was not noisy or disruptive. we enjoyed our stay but me and the wife both like the old rooms at the Prava better than the new modern rooms.

We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. Very stylish with a pull-out flat screen. We have stayed here before and loved the new room design. I did prefer the old bed. The new one is nice just a little harder than I prefer. There is construction ongoing but we are up and gone early every day so it was not an issue with us.I could see if you wanted to sleep in it might not be the place for you. If you want to stay in what is going to be an expensive hotel for an unbelievably low rate and don't mind a few inconveniences this is the place.

the hotel is undergoing MAJOR renovation ! The lobby anda few of the floors are GUTTED.. we have stayed here several times in the past and it looks like a shell of its former self. Our room was one of the newer renovated ones & it was REALLY nice. I think once all is said & done, this hotel will be awesome... hope they dont quaruple their rates and make it unaffordable for us in the future.

Have stayed there before and everything was great. Now there is major reconstruction going on with in the hotel and directly outside of the hotel. If you like to hear banging and sawing VERY EARLY, this is the place for YOU!!!

The hotel was undergoing major renovations. The odor from the paint and other chemicals gave us a headache. There was no bar, no fitness center. Once they finish rebuilding the hotel it will be ok. Until then I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel was under construction in the lobby ...and it stated that on the internet ...BUT...the room was so hot when i entered...I turned on the air and all the fumes from the painting and the glue from them laying tile in the lobby just overtook me when the air came on...it was awful and I asked for my money back....they would not give my money back but did move me to another hotel across the street

I was looking forward to revisiting the Prava. I remembered how beautiful it was when I stayed before. THey are under construction and it was awful. The new design is not comfortable and the place was a mess. WE were very disappointed!

Although it mentioned this hotel was under going renovations, I was not expecting to have the lobby totally gutted to sheetrock, where you needed to climb two flights of stairs to check in at a temporary front desk. Tarps were hanging throughout the floors, and guests were scattered, instead of being sectioned off. Contruction took place on Saturday also.

We booked this location because of the close proximity to the Galleria. The room layout was another booking factor. Traveling with two small children and no 1st floor elevator was not good.(under construction) and being woken up by all the noise at 7 am during the weekend was very annoying!!

Due to the renovations, the hotel was a bit of inconvenience to us because the jacuzzi was not working and we had to carry our luggage up to the 2nd floor for check-in. Someone did meet us half way but no one was at the door and the staff was very friendly, especially Curtis.

We stayed during the holiday weekend. While large scale construction is going on, we were not too disturbed. We got an excellent rate for a hotel that would probably be unaffordable for us under normal circumstances.

Hotel is in hard renovation. Room was clean but needs improvement. Beds and shower are OK. Big negative factor: perturbing noise from 8am to 8pm. Hotel should be shut downed. Front desk was improvised on the 2nd floor with no elevator access. Rate discount is not worth for what you get.
