Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 278Look for a different hotel
The location and customer service are the only things this hote has going for it. The rooms we deceiving when you saw them on the virtual tour. They are not that big. Also the partitions did not work well and you could clearly see the and here the television from the other room. That left a lot for the privacy issue. The King size bed was awful. Some of the springs were sprung and very weak. There was no support at all on the bed. My husband and I slept awful and both of us woke up achy and exhausted. The second night we put the kids on the bed and we used the hideaway and it was much more comfortable. The heating unit was very loud and woke us up every time that it came on. We just ended up having a very cold room at night so that we could sleep. If you do choose to stay at this hotel make sure that you bring your own pillows! The walking distance was not too bad. Don't eat at the Jolly Roger they offer free kids meals with the room, it was one of the worst resteraunts I have ever eaten at. After 4 IHOP is kids eat free everyday so if you still want the cheap meals go there, and it is right across the street. This hotel is definately not worth the money especially for a suite. We frequent Disneyland and this is by far on of the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Friendly people, great location if going to the convention center or a short walking distance to Disney! Plan to stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 278Hotel Stay
My room was directly above the parking garage and think we were above pipes. OUr last night there was so noisy we could not sleep. Management should stay the night in room 2227 and experience what we did. The room was nice, need to replace the beds, they are like Motel 6 beds and blankets.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 278not what we expected
hotel was in need of repairs, pool closed, "old" worn rooms. No frills but expensive. Far walk to parks (3 blosks = .8 of a mile or more). Nosey and room musty smell. "kids eat free" Not any deal! other hotels have better deals on this. Disappointed, not what it was advertised to be :(. Would not stay again, over priced!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 278Excellent Location
Overall, this was a very hotel to stay in. Very convenient with disneyland only less than 10 minutes walking. Plenty of restaurants nearby (CPK, Cheese Cake factory, Tony Romas, IHOP, and many more!). Only negative was that the bathroom seemed a little cramped and there was no fridge. But for price and location I couldnt even notice those problems. Besides spending the whole day in disneyland, why would i need a fridge?

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 278Good Enough
I didn't expect much going into this hotel, so it didn't disappoint. The door to the bathroom did not shut all the way, housekeeping left us with no toilet paper, towels or tissues and they took away our extra sheet that we were using for the pull-out bed without replacing it after our first night. They also managed to do something with my blow-dryer that I never found; but it was clean and was very close to Disneyland. I've seen complaints about the location, but my 58 year old mom, myself and my five year old son made the trek after 12 hours at Disney with no problem. Yes, our legs were tired, but not from walking to and from the hotel. The "doors" between the rooms might as well be curtains, that's pretty much all they were good for, but that didn't really bother me. I booked this hotel at a decent price and if I were looking for that in the future I might book there again. After all, it is just a place to rest my head and it is clean, which is all I'm looking for when vacationing at Disneyland on a budget.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 278A reasonable place to stay
The location is good; the pool and spa could use more maintenance as the water was a bit murky. It's a reasonable hotel for the price.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 278An Ok Hotel Experience
The staff would answer questions, but did not offer up information unless asked. An example: There is a shuttle that runs near the front of the hotel to Disneyland. There is a fee. The hotel will sell you the passes for the shuttle so you do not have to root around for change to and from Disneyland. The hotel staff did not inform us of the pass that could be purchased there, instead we ended up being told by the shuttle operator. Without gift bags, kids, food, the hotel is within walking distance of Disneyland...next time I think I'd pay extra to be inside the park.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 278Big Rooms
We were pleasantly surprised in the size of the room. It was just perfect for a family of four. The walk was a little longer than we hoped for, but we managed. The staff was pleasant, but we had a communication problem with some. I would definately recommend this hotel for the little amount of money we paid.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 278Great Hotel
Our hotel stay was great, very comfortable for a lovely couple and close by to restaurants and theme parks to walk or drive to. We went with other couples and they placed us on the same floor which was convienent and when we returned from our busy days, our room was kept tidy and clean. I would definetly stay there again!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 278Great Room for the Money & Location
The Portofino Inn and Suites was a great room for the price and location. Did have an issue with cleanliness, found cherios on the floor by the bed and they weren't left by us. Really glad we didn't have toddlers or dogs with us, lord knows what else they would've found on the floor. It is a great location for both Disney parks which are within walking distance but the bus stop is directly in front of the hotels if you want to save your legs for the important walking.

Comfortable room, close amenities. On the shuttle line which was nice because it is a bit of a walk. We loved staying here.

Don't be fooled by the "suite". Very thin doors with see-through curtains separate the rooms. We couldn't even watch tv while our kids slept in the other room. Loud hotel, housekeeping loves to let the doors slam shut (bad for naptimes)Uncomfortable bed. Fairly clean. Location was the only redeeming quality.
