Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 787Awesome
The only thing I didn't like was if you didn't use the valet service, you had to walk through a mall with your bags in order to get to your room. Otherwise the room and hotel was awesome.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 787Great room in perfect location
The rooms are really nice with hip, modern decor, and exceeded my expecations. They have large flat screen TV's and the large bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub. The hotel is in a great location right in the middle of the strip. The only problem we had was that you cannot access the parking/valet from Las Vegas Blvd. You have to turn right (before you get to the hotel) on E. Harmon Ave. in order to park and check in. Make sure to plan your route before you go because if you miss the turn it can take a really long time to circle the block. Also, the valet staff was kind of rude and disorganized. Keep in mind we stayed during New Years so our experience may not have been typical. Overall our experience was positive and the price was definitely good for a holiday.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 787Self parking needs improvement
The hotel was very satisfactory. The only issue was directions for check-in after self parking our car. The directions were not clear and we had to walk throught the cab and thru traffic line. We found out later that day that you could walk through the mall and arrive at the hotel without walking through traffic.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 787Good room but needs improvement
We have fun at the hotel, it was clean but there's no fridge in the room which is standard in most hotels, even motels!

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 787Wonderful Stay
Our stay at PH was overall very good. We had a lovely room with a view of the fountains across the street. Checkin was a bit slow, but understandable with 50 plus people waiting in line. Love the soaking tubs!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 787WORST CHECK-IN Time EVER!!
I waited for an hour to check into the hotel. It was a Monday night 7:30 with only 2 front desk people to check in line full of people. This hotel has a mgmt problem. Rooms were great, but the check in gave people a bad first impression.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 787Just a Great Experience
Planet Hollywood was just a great hotel, great staff, great room and there is not a single negative thing I can say. I only wish I had booked my entire stay there rather than split my trip with another hotel further north on the strip. I was upgraded to a room with a KILLER view of the strip, and was able to watch the fountains at Bellagio day and night. The room was clean, the bathroom was above and beyond as far as hotels go, and the location cannot be beat. The food in the restaurants was excellent, the casino was fun, and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 787Great Location, still in transition
Planet Hollywood is right on the strip, right in the middle of the action. It used to be the Alladin and is still in transition, so expect long lines and basically no customer service (I called the front desk and housekeeping three times and no one would ever answer.) However, we got a great rate on a weekday and the hotel was clean, just not "Hollywood cool" or themed well like some of the other hotels on the strip. It was definitely the nicest hotel for the price we paid, which was a lot less than the high glamour hotels which surround you here. I would recommend if you just want a place to crash and want a clean comfortable room and want to be within walking distance of everything on the strip. If you are looking for a high-service resort experience, look elsewhere.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 787good location but......
the room is too dark. Maybe good for single or a couple, but not match for family use. I reserved fountain view but the window was very darty and "PARIS"'s Big illumination ball partly shut^out the sight of Bellagio's fountain. I used vallet parking because self^parking to the lobby is very far. However, it took 30 minutes to get a car even use vallet.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 787Perfect price for location and cleanliness
PH is located near the center of the Strip, a great walking distance to most of the Vegas sites and shows. It is also located in the middle of a mall, so anything you may want to buy is just downstairs. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A big step above the seedy casino/hotels without the excessive price and opulence of some of the other well knowns.
