Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 32Older hotel with decent facilities and good location
We've stayed there before and knew what we "would" be getting, but the room we thought we'd booked wasn't available and we were put in a smaller room leading off the parking lot... that was disappointing. The bathroom and kitchen appeared to have been recently rennovated and were sufficiently outfitted for our two night stay with our 20 month old toddler. We love the indoor heated pool and giant hot tub, the two outdoor pools, the beach access and the Winn-Dixie and IHOP accross the street! Breakfast room was crowded and service was very slow... although the donuts are good!

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 32A few problems
We stayed over the July 4th weekend. Hotel was full and not enough parking on-site. Had to park across or down the street. Only one elevator was working which made for long waits. Our door to the room didn't fit properly and had to be slammed to shut each time. However, the room was nice with a big bathroom. It was our first stay so we got a top floor room overlooking the ocean...perfect! The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. All in all a good experience.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 32Oasis in the Sand
We have a timeshare in Daytona, and needed one more night. Thanks to Hotels.com we found the diamond in the rough. Perry's is it's own little city at the beach. The people were great. The room was spacous and spotless. All of this at a great rate. Kudos!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 32A Little Disappointed
I have used this hotel before & am use to it being in great shape. However, this time, it was lacking. The oceanfront efficiency we stayed in had a musty smell to it. The door to the balcony would not open. The television did not work & our electronic keys stopped working for no reason. These were all corrected promptly but this is the first time this has ever happened at this hotel. If they are going to open a room for rental, they need to check it before it is rented, to ensure everything is in working order. I may stay here again - I'm not sure after this experience.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 32OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!
We looked at the website and thought it looked a little old and run down, But as soon as I walked in the lobby I was very impressed! the location is on the main road, but it far enough down to enjoy a family atmosphere without the traffic on the beach. BEAUTIFUL indoor pool and hot tub area. Will stay there everytime we go back.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 32Outstanding, family friendly Hotel
We stayed at Perry's Ocean Edge Resort during spring break 2009 and had a great time. Check-in went very smooth. The room was very clean and convinient. Room service was excellent, quick and very friendly. The doughnuts the houses trademark were very good. A big plus of the resort were the two outdoor pools and the indoor pool. They provided flexibility for all weather conditions. I would recommend this Resort Hotel to every firend and family.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 32The kids wanted to skip Disney!
This was intended to be a "decompression" stop on a long drive from VA to Orlando, so that we'd just have a 90 minute drive to the Magic Kingdom. But it was such a hit that the kids didn't want to leave - even for Disney! Though we had pretty decent weather for April and got to enjoy the waves, we were grateful for the indoor pool in the lovely atrium when it got chilly in the afternoon (also when the tide was in and there wasn't much "beach" that wasn't a roadway). It's at a much quieter section of Daytona, and right across the street from a Winn-Dixie, so we could make good use of the well-stocked kitchenette. The balcony and overall room layout were great for a family of 5, though the bathroom was a bit cramped. Hotel staff was friendly, and everyone loved the donuts (and donuts are definitely NOT on our usual menu). Daytona is definitely not our favorite beach, but we were pleasantly surprised at this resort. Great value, and would highly recommend.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 32my daughter loved it
beds and pillows were comfortable. even though we did not have an ocean view room, the ocean could be seen just a few steps down the hall. the bathroom was small and a bit outdated, but fine. my daughter loved the doughnuts in the morning, watching the stars come out at night over the beach, then watching the sun rise.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 32What I Expected
The hotel was right on the beach. It was clean and the room was large and comfy. We were there for bike week and the location was good. We would stay there again.
