Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 589Needs Improvement
We had some issues with our room over the holiday week, such as leaky shower, torn curtain, loud heater, and bad tv reception when we wanted to relax and watch a football game. On the plus side, hotel staff was very attentive, bed was very comfy, and location was great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 589Great deal
I happened to book two nights the weekend between Christmas and New Year's and got a great rate for both nights for my girlfriend and I. Great location, nice neighborhood, and the area boasts a plethora of restaurants. Quick cab ride down to other parts of NYC too. We came in from northern NJ so it was an easy ride over the George Washington Bridge, down the Henry Hudson Pkwy, and then off at 79th street. Was a little hard to find because the sign outside was small, and parking was very expensive. Overall though I would recommend this.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 589Comfortable, clean, and convienent
I surprised my husband with a trip to NYC over New Years. Seeing that he had never been, I really wanted to give him the New York feel and welcome. I originally found a hotel that seemed perfect and booked that for the 3 most popular evenings during our stay. I needed a place to stay for the previous 2 and found this hotel. It was priced a little less than the other (that I had already booked) and it was in a different area, which I felt would access difference parts of New York. To make a long story short, we WISH we would have stayed at this hotel the entire time. Had I known that I would have loved it so much, I would have tried to get out of the other reservation and stay here. Not only is it in easy walking distance to Central Park, but it is VERY close to a subway station (which makes everything in NYC a lot easier, especially considering the freezing conditions). When we return to NYC, we have decided that this is a hotel we would return to. The rooms are a little small but that is what you get when you NYC!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 589Very good hotel
I liked this hotel although the room size was a bit small. The location was safe and quiet. The room service was great and the staff were friendly. OTA made my trip wonderful. I did enjoy staying here. I highly recommended this hotel. Most importantly, the price was reasonable.

The hotel staff was delightful and friendly. The room was very nice. Don't miss the view from the 16th floor! The location was great, right between two metro lines. Great neighborhood. Would definitely come back to stay next time!

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 589Great location, good value
I had work that week on the upper west side. Therefore, OTA was a great location for me. I could walk to my destination. And the Manhatten Deli, a great place to eat 24 hours a day, is just across the street. A very comfortable bed, good room service and a reasonable price all make OTA a find.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 589Great overall value in Upper West Side
Great value for location. Mostly residential location within 5 minute walking distance from neighborhood restaurants, cafes, shoping and subway station. Central Park only 10-15 minute walk. Hotel is boutique-like and reasonably quite. Rooms are small as expected in NYC, but have all the necessities. Hotel and decor are starting to show some age, but it's not a major issue and again for the price, it's worth it. Upgrade to superior and try for a corner room if possible.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 589good times
Stayed with as a family of 4 (adult children). Hotel is just a few metro stops from midtown, yet very close to central park - which is a nice combination. Overall, it was quite nice. We also were able to get a great price on this stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 589Spacious, clean and comfortable
We absolutely loved this hotel! Having stayed in many NYC hotels, this is one of the best ever - especially for the price. The room actually felt roomy (for NYC) and the bathroom was big with a shower big enough for four people (not that we tried that...ha!) It's very convenient to central park and the museums and just a short subway/cab ride to Time Square. The bed was comfortable, room was modern and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it and plan on staying here again!
