Nice hotel

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Location is in Coconut Grove, away from the bustle of Miami but also a bit of a walk to anything substantial. Stayed here 2 nights. Outdoor patio looked great with the wooden hot tub but it rained nearly the whole time and there was a lot of rainwater and leaves collecting out there on the patio furniture, etc. so couldn't use it when the rain stopped. Humid in the room with a slightly musty smell because of this, but GREAT bathroom and large room with nice TV/DVD player and wireless internet. Would stay again if you're looking for a nice room/bathroom where you can rest or if you have a car and aren't dependent on a cab ride to the beach, etc.

I LOVED MY STAY AT THE MAYFAIR,HOWEVER;WHEN I SIMPLY ASKED FOR A BUCKET OF ICE NO ONE COULD BRING IT TO ME. THAT WAS MY ONLY DISAPPOINMENT.

Great Value in a Contemporary Setting

Good value for money, large screen tv's, jacuzzi's in every room...always a good stay.

Great Hotel

My husband and I always enjoy this hotel. The location is great. I wish they did not start charging for use of the jaccuzi because that is one reason we have enjoyed it so much in the past. Beware, the parking fee for 24 hours is $30.00

Awesome Hotel

Stayed for my honeymoon and it was worth every penny. The spa in the room was so worth the small surcharge to use it.

Nice room, sits in the middle of a shopping center

We read about the construction/rennovation going on before we booked, but weren't bothered by any noise during our one night stay. The hotel is surrounded by shopping and restaurants; we were able to walk across the street to a shopping center, and ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. The room was welcoming and the bed was very comfortable. The bathtub was large, but wouldn't stay plugged so water steadily drained when filled. Also wish there was a fan in the bathroom to help with the humidity, but otherwise nice. There is also a TV in the bathroom. Jacuzzi on balcony was nice amenity, except it cost an additional fee to use and didn't seem worth it. Was a little noisy at night in the alleyway behind our room with people yelling. Overall, it was a nice hotel for one night.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

THE HOTEL IS UNDER MAJOR RENOVATION WHICH WAS NOT SHARED TO AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION. THE NOISE WAS OVERWHELMING...EVEN ON SUNDAY MORNING AND THE ODORS FROM THE VARIOUS MATERIALS WERE TERRIBLE!!

Outstanding Hotel and Spa

My husband and I went for a 4 day trip just to get away and relax.. The room was spacious and the set up was great. It sits right across the street for COCO Walk which has several stores, restaurants, and bars. There is a pool being built and should be completed in October. It looks as though it will be really nice based on the pics they had posted around the hotel. I will be back really soon. Please pay the 30.00 bucks for the spa its a nice treat for couples. The daybed on the porch was a nice touch and the decor of the whole hotel was nice and looks just the the pics on the website. Which we were pleased about. Great spot.

Needs Improvement

Nice hotel, first room assigned had strong mildew smell. Assigned another room which was better. My only major complaint was we kept having to call room service for towels and to change linen.
