The beds in this hotel were heaven. The room was clean and the hotel service was cheery. We were visiting family in Ardmore. West Conshohocken was a little out of the way.

The directions to the hotel were not good. The placement of the furniture was off. It is hard to watch television when the tv was on the side. Also as it was 10 miles out side Philly I don't feel the 12.00 parking fee was right. The room was clean.

Even though we stayed over night I must say the comfort level is way up ther. The staff was polite and the room was great! On check out day I remember asking my husband if we could stay another night. It was really worth it!

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 42Marriott West Philly mid-November business trip
Hotel is beautiful, updated & clean... definitely an urban hotel in the closest Philly suburb. Bed is REALLY comfortable. Room was VERY clean. Enough room to get some work done & to relax. The room darkening shades work. Parking garage was great in stormy weather. Exit is gated, no attendant, so have your room key handy. Three caveats: 1. Train runs right next to hotel. As a heavy sleeper, wasn't an issue for me. 2. Room service was pricier than expected... $13 cheeseburger with fries... they prepared as requested though. 3. Using internet from room or in business center is around $10 minimum. All in all, very nice for a business trip stay. Would highly recommend for location & comfort.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 42Clean, confortable, and convenient
When I discovered it was right off the highway, I wondered if I would be bothered by road noise. I was not. I paid a little extra to get the AM breakfast bar, which was very tasty.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 42Great Hotel-very minor hangups
No mini fridge, mini bar, or microwave...considering the price of the cheapest room those were three disappointments. HOWEVER- extremely comfortable bed, nice room, very friendly staff, and overall classy hotel. If my budget was higher I wouldn't have been concerned so much with the price because it is probably pretty reasonable considering quality.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 42Rooms ridiculously small
My wife, 8-week-old daughter and I spent three nights at the West Conshohocken Marriott in mid-June (I spent a fourth night there myself). While the hotel was lovely, the room--complete with king size bed, large bureau and desk, was small to the point of absurdity. Also, the man overseeing the gift shop/complimentary coffee was rude to my wife and daughter the first morning. On the other hand, the room was clean and well-maintained, the food was delicious, the room service was excellent, and they provided us with a crib and a small refrigerator at no extra cost. Still, for the price of the hotel and the "luxury" feel, the rooms need to be *much* larger.
