a great getaway and so plush

We had a grat time so convenient and could walk any where. A great place to stay for the Holiday Bowl.

Only so-so

We requested king beds but didn't get them. We had two rooms requested as close together as possible but they started us out not even on the same floor. Attitude was not very positive.

San Diego Style

If you are looking for a really nice place to stay while visting San Diego I would recommend the Grand Hyatt. When I arrived the place was hoping with people checking in and I was treated great even though there was a thousand people in the lobby. I went down for the Holiday Bowl and the place was ready for it. If I go down to San Diego again I will only stay here. Loved every minute.. Thanks to all the staff and you have to love the sunny weather..

Fabulous location, but a little worn.

This was a great valuer for the money, and the location couldn't have been better. The lobby and bars were nicely decorated and well located in the hotel. Elevators were extremely slow, and our room was a little worn. Fabulous views and very comfortable bed.

Perfect

This hotel was awesome, it was elegant, perfectly located, has a great food, great service, and most of all it was a comfortable night stay with great views and great ammenities. We loved our stay, wished we could have stayed longer, and have already started planning a trip back.

Wonderful Location

The hotel was exactly what we needed for our anniversary trip. Not being familiar with the area, the hotel staff was very helpful and the location of the hotel was very close to shopping and eating hot spots in San Diego. The room was very nice and decently sized with comfortable amenities and there was lots of eating and entertainment within the hotel and right out the front doors. Also great views of the city and harbor as well as Coronado Island. Would gladly stay there again!

Just OK, nothing special

The rooms are small and the bathroom was primitive.
