Luxe interior design with the best service

The hotel was cheap on hotels.com and when we got there i was surprised how luxurious the hotel was. There were marble countertops and tile in the rest room, the windows were dressed in beautiful drapes and the bed was really comfy. The ceiling had some nice painting and molding as well. Best of all the service was top notch and we got to eat PB and J sandwiches with yummy chocolate milk at night. I've been to 5 star hotels before, but i was not expecting that this inexpensive hotel we booked for a fun last minute trip would have been just as good. Also, all the fun is walking distance, even in high heeled shoes.

Wonderful hotel ... great southern charm ....

Restaurant was great ... breakfast is fantastic..... great lady (her name escapes me) is famous for her breakfast buffets. Wonderful southern charm. Staff is amazing and so kind and generous and helpful. You never feel pressured like they are waiting for tips or anything. Ofcourse that doesn't mean to treat these wonderful people right, but it's just so genuine.

Outstanding Hotel

This was not our first time to stay at the Le Pavillon and it will not be our last. We attended a Saints football game and the hotel is conveniently located to the Superdome and other entertainment as well as dining options AND all in walking distance.

Decent

Probably better Hotels to stay at but overall, considering price, we were satisfied. Hotel very old. Parking obsurdly expensive. Pictures on web site are much nicer than hotel really is. Overall we were pleased.

Old World Charm with Modern Convenience

We booked from the website, hoping the many positive comments were valid. From the moment we drove up the impressive drive to Le Pavillion, we were treated to exceptional service and grand accomodations. The staff was friendly and quick to make us feel right at home, with quick attention to all of our needs. The halls are broad and inviting. The room was beautiful - exactly what one would hope for, full of southern charm and elegance, bright and inviting. The bathroom was elegently appointed, with marble and glass; the best shower I've had in a long time! We also appreciated the high-end complimentary toiletries and the abundance of clean, fluffy towels. Be sure to enjoy the 10 p.m. snack of PBJ's and hot cocoa! The perfect spot for a romantic getaway, this hotel is located within 2 blocks of the streetcars and within walking distance of the French Quarter, Riverwalk and Casino. We would love to visit again!
