Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 109Great Location and Comfort
This hotel was very neat and clean. Nicely apportioned, though small rooms. Incredible location. A few short blocks from the Metro; but the walk was very pleasant and safe. In the absolute middle of Georgetown's shopping district.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 109Worwhile for the price
The Latham is a quaint hotel situated in the heart of G'town, which makes it a great find just on that basis. Rooms without windows can be claustrophobic, but otherwise the rooms are nicely appointed, large comfortable beds - and, most important, a great personable staff. Highly recommended!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 109a hidden gem
with the price we paid, I was expecting a clean and kind of ok hotel, I was surprised to see a very pretty and classy hotel instead, and also they have a top quality restaurant in it. It's a small hotel, not very busy or crowded, workers are nice, they are very flexible with the rules and try to accommodate to our needs, I had a very pleasant stay.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 109Great Hotel
The hotel was excellent. Seconds from all the shopping and restaurants in georgetown and a quick taxi away from train, bus or national airport. I didn't expect the room to be so nice considering the rate I got. The layout of my room was excellent and I loved it!

Heater made a terrible noise. They said they would fix it but they didn't.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 109Incredibly Quaint, Amazing Staff, Everything You Need
I was so impressed by this hotel! I used to live in DC, and because the hotel is set back off of M St., down a little cul de sac, I had never noticed it before. It is really beautiful, and the staff was helpful, kind and attentive. It is true that the room was small, but it was clean and attractive and had all I needed, including a desk and bureau. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the makeup mirror in the bathroom was especially nice!

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 109Great Hotel - needs upgrades
Loved the hotel, the people, location, etc, but they must do something with the heaters and water. I had to turn the heat off (November) in the middle of the night because it made so much noise I couldn't fall asleep. The water was luke warm when I showered the next morning.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 109Great Location ~ Tiny Rooms
Great location, couldn't be better if you want walking distance to Georgtown area. But the rooms are so incredibly small. The bathrooms are shamefully tiny as well. We were also situated directly in front of the elevator due to the low rate we got from hotels.com. Very disappointing as it was our anniversary. The staff was very nice and again, the location is great.

Although I need to pay another $20 for a parking (not a valet parking), the deal was good enough.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 109Good value -- parking extra
We only stayed one night, but I was impressed by the quality of the hotel for the price. Our room was not huge, and bathroom was small, but all was redecorated and staff was helpful. Parking was extra, but self parking was available one block down for half the price (about $16 per night compared to $32 per night for valet park).
