    We stayed here for New Year's Eve, and were very pleased. The hotel and room was clean and the staff were great. The room was 150 sq feet, meaning there's not a lot of extra space in the main area, but there was a huge closet. The room had a LCD TV (although we didn't use it.) Earlier reviews said parking was free, but there's a charge now, and it's almost double that for valet (...which is a bit unreasonable.) The parking garage is run by another company and we had to wait there 15 minutes before we could drop the car off. The shower control was a little fussy, and I would have appreciated a little more water pressure.

Location. The Larkspur Hotel Union Station stands one-half block from the Powell Street cable car line in San Francisco, Calif. This property is located less than two blocks from Union Square, and three blocks from the Curran Theatre and Chinatown. The popular Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market offer fresh produce and craft items one-and-one-half miles from the hotel.

Hotel Features. The Larkspur Hotel Union Station's lobby reflects light and airy ambience, and a sitting area furnished with neutral-toned couches and armchairs, a gas fireplace and an espresso bar. BAR 1915 offers light fare, beer and wine during evening hours. A total of 1,200 square feet of function space includes the Pacific Heights room that accommodates up to 60 people. A business center houses two computer stations and a printer. Fax and photocopy services are available. Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel. A dedicated concierge assists guests with their needs and offers city information. Access to a health club, located one block from the hotel, is offered at a discounted rate. Bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations or showers only, and are stocked with LATHER Bath and Body toiletries. Rooms contain coffeemakers stocked with Equator Coffee. Suites include refrigerators. Technological enhancements include flat-panel televisions and complimentary wireless Internet access.
