Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 237Excellent Value for the Money
I stayed in this hotel two nightes as a stopover to another destination. The hotel was clean and had all the conveniences I needed, and the price was excellent which included breakfast. I did not have a car and therefore needed to travel by taxi to the airport and bus station. The taxi fare, metered, was about $18 to downtown station and $23 to the airport, so a locatiohn closer to those destinations would be helpful. The accommodations very clean and staff were helpful. Several restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel which is a plus. I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 237Great room for the money and location.
our stay in San Diego was great. The motel was what we were looking for. However it is an older site but it served our needs well. Great price and location.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 237Good for the $
This hotel met our 1-night need for a place to sleep during the Christmas holiday season. The bed was comfortable and the microwave and fridge were a great amenity for our family with two kids. The breakfast was good. I would recommend requesting an even numbered room. Our odd # room faced the Chrysler dealership service department and we were awakened at 7am with the mechanic noise.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 237Great Location and Good for the money.
Rates were good for San Diego and central to several restaurants. Close to the freeway for easy access to the theme parks and Tori Pines Golf course, which is a big rip off and a tourist trap. I have never been so poorly treated at a golf establishment... any way the room was terrific and clean and a cool location. Would recommend it to my friends.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 237Decent Hotel for the Rating
I didn't have much time other than sleep but the room was clean and the beds were more comfortable than I expected. Although, I don't know when hotels stopped having comforters. It was a chilly night. Luckily I was able to use the sheets off the other bed.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 237Nice place for the price
We liked it, but there was a pee wee football team staying there so lots of kids and noise. Not really the hotels fault though. Room was nice, kind of old, but that is most of San Diego. Easy access from the 8 fwy, and close to most attractions. Free breakfast was good.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 237Kinda noisy
Had a bunch of kids and families running up and down the hallways early in the morning, but overall a clean hotel. The parking is something to be desired too, you need a compact car to fit in the spaces.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 237"Great value!"
My mom and I have stayed at La Quinta Mission Bay many times over the past two years and are always eager to return. The rooms are just the right size, and we especially appreciate the refrigerator and microwave in each room. The continental breakfast is scrumptious and makes the stay even better. Although we haven't used it, they also have a heated outdoor pool and spa that is very well maintained. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great value and quiet, smoke free room. :)

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 237Perfect
I always know that La Quinta means a nice, clean room for a low price. But this hotel went beyond that. The room was exceptionally clean like it was brand new or something. The hotel is in a perfect spot, close to many attractions and highways. Staff was great!

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 237Great room for the money
Great room for the money - I was only there 3 nights and it was close to where I was going for business, close to the airport and a mall area across the street. Very convenient to most of San Diego.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 237Good comfort, reasonable price
This was quick trip to San Diego. We did not need nor want a fancy hotel. The La Quinta Mission Vally had comfortable rooms, good location and nice amenities. The desk staff (most contact at night) was great.
